I brought a pillow cover of a decorative couch pillow in to receive a quote on cleaning — I had no idea what the cleaning cost would be and only wanted to proceed if it was reasonable. After I explained to the lady working that I didn’t want to pay more than it would cost to replace the pillow, I was quoted about $ 5 after she looked up the item in her book. Upon picking it up a week later, I was charged $ 17 and change! That is much more than I would have spent to replace it. I expressed my disapproval and disappointment and was met with arguments — the other girl was wrong but they won’t honor that price, they got it clean — didn’t they and so on and so forth. In the end, they took $ 3 off — not enough in my opinion. I was forced to pay for the service when what I wanted to do was to walk out and leave it there for them to keep.

This is a great dry cleaners. Lisa is wonderful and always remembers us, and the things we’ve been up to, and things we have planned, etc. They’re on the expensive side, but I just watch for coupons that come in the mail and almost always have a $ 10 off coupon ready to go. They also have a talented tailor/​seamstress who is in on Mondays and Wednesdays (call for hours). She has fixed everything from jeans to evening gowns for me and does a great job.
