Jake at Wings is the real thing. He is particular who he signs to represent. He offers acting classes at no cost. Jake only makes money when his talent does – like all legit agents. Jake has relationships with agents on both coasts and he works hard to get his clients representation. My daughter signed with Jake about a year ago. She has attended his classes and workshops and expo. (We do pay for workshops because that involves costs to bring in agents and coaches. Expo is an event we travel to and like all conferences and competitions that also has a cost) After working with Jake and taking advantage of the opportunities he presented, my daughter has been signed with an agent and manager in LA. She is currently doing what she absolutely loves – auditioning and acting.
Her experience is not unique. I’ve met many moms and kids who got there start at wings. The agents I have met have great respect for Jake and his talents.
Not all kids want to act and model; not all kids can. But if this is your kid’s thing, working with Jake is a great start.
