Been patronizing Bayards for years. The chocolates are to die for but you might die waiting for someone to wait on you. The staff aren’t the brightest nor do they seem to be friendly(maybe they are drones?). Its usually best to visit them during the day and several days ahead of a special occasion to reduce your wait.

I cannot believe I’ve waited this long to review this place. I LOVETHISPLACE! It has a cute store front that they decorate for the holidays. There is lots of parking. The second you walk in, the lovely aroma of sweet candies hits you. You can ask for samples, but you can easily fill on chocolate if you aren’t careful, they have such a huge selection! Their chocolate covered pretzels are the best I’ve ever had as of yet!!! I have not been disappointed by anything I’ve tried thus far. I always try to make an excuse to come by here since my discovery of the place!

This is a review by a vegetarian The success of bayards is that they have everything. Say you have a chocolate craving butttttt… do you want dark, milk, or something in between? do you want chocolate with caramel, peanut butter, cashews, almonds, strawberries, rasberries, hazelnuts, coconut, mashmallows, preztels, in fudge form, and on and on and on. This is the point of Bayards: it is above average chocolate confections of all kinds. It’s not religion inducing stuff but you can be sure it’ll hit the spot. Also, they now resell Johnson’s popcorn from the shore.

Cute candy shop in the bottom floor of an historic house. Chocolate & other candies on tables, bookshelves, everywhere — really magical & smells fabulous when you walk in! Had a wonderful Christmas Eve experience here — very busy yet the super friendly staff gave every customer personalized service. Free samples for the kids(& me). You can get fudge, salt water taffy, & caramel popcorn too if you can’t make it down the shore! Best part, of course, is that all of the chocolate we bought was DELICIOUS!

Very nice place. The staff is friendly and helpful. Lots of variety and the prices are good. Wanted something a little different than the Godiva chocolates(don’t get me wrong, there is a review for them as well, yummy). This store is in a historical house which made it even better!

OMGYUMYUMYUM! Lots of dark chocolate covered pretzels please!!! Like I will buy all of them. SOOOOOOOOGOOOOOOD!!! Regular gel and sugar candies must be rewrapped with a Bayards name but who cares about those. The loose chocolate candies I have tried are all excellent. Oreos covered in chocolate? Yes please!!! They have the best dark chocolate I have ever had!!! Anyway — to sum it up — Buy Chocolate Covered pretzels!!! You wont be disappointed. Second Best part(after the pretzels) — they ship the pretzels!!! Also as a tip, this place makes some great holiday gifts for your co-workers or for parties. Did I say the CC pretzels were good yet?

Everything a small batch handcrafted chocolate house should be. My favorites are the dark chocolate orange peel and the dark sponge(honey comb and molasses dipped in dark chocolate). Seriously good quality chocolate.

Bayard’s is a local chocolate company with three locations. Each«chocolate house» is similar, but the one I have frequented most is the Cinnaminson location. Every time I visit I am filled with warm feelings and the reminiscence of past holidays and birthday celebrations. In high school, a friend of mine worked at the Cinnaminson Bayard’s and every time we had a sleepover, she would bring BAGS of chocolates. I can’t imagine how many calories were consumed on those nights! Now, I stick to just a couple pieces of my very favorites. I cannot go into a Bayard’s without leaving with a chocolate covered marshmallow for myself. Does anyone remember that Sesame Street clip with the little kid and the chocolate covered cookie? Am I jogging memories here? That’s me with the marshmallow. Other favorites are the dark chocolate covered orange peels, which are so different from anything you would find at other chocolate stores and so very good, and the chocolate and vanilla butter creams.

Ah, heaven. I wondered if you existed. From fudge to lollipops to Turkish paste(so delicious!) to gummy candies to premaded treat baskets to – my mouth is watering at the memory of this place. If it were on the side of Rt 130 that is more accessible to me, I would have been there the day I got my license and every week following.
