As good as a Doctor gets. Please don’t even read bad posts about him cause they just ain’t true. He removed 4 wisdom teeth on our 21 year old Son and we could not ask for a better Doctor. He is kind, calm, soft spoken and is a delightful person. He is professional and does a thorough job. If you are looking for a Doctor to serve your dental needs, look no further. Thanks, DR Rothman!

What a fantastic office. Dr Rothman and his girls/staff went above and beyond. I was referred to Dr Rothman as an emergency. For years I was told(if my wisdom teeth don’t bother me don’t bother them). Well, because I didn’t have them looked at by a Oral Surgeon I developed an infection around one wisdom tooth because food was getting trapped which affected the tooth in front causing intense pain. My visit was so easy. But what stands out the most for me was the compassion and urgent care the office provided. The front desk girl told me not to even have a seat in the waiting area. She called a nurse who immediately took me in the back for more extensive X-rays and had me sit in a consult room for a few minutes and then went to get Dr Rothman. My own dental office had me wait for an hour that morning to be seen. Not long after Dr Rothman came in with his beautiful smile. He educated me and left the decision about the others in my hands. But said let’s get you out of pain. He was not pushy in any way. The office was very clean and his office staff was incredible, from the folks at the front desk, to the nurse with him during my surgery(I believe her name was V– she is fabulous). They made me feel very comfortable during the procedure. And his nurse even held my hand. After the procedure I had a little pain and some swelling, which I expected. Dr. Rothmans office called to check on me the following day. I would highly recommend this office and will be going back for my other wisdom teeth to be removed in April. Truly the best and TOPORALSURGEONINMYEYES! Thank you so much Dr Rothman. I can’t begin to thank you enough for all your help.

I saw Dr. Rothman because I have no insurance and my dentist said that he was the least expensive– I now see that you get what you pay for. I had 3 wisdom teeth extracted at the beginning of April and the entire experience was just horrible. When I went for my consultation, the doctor seemed to be jumping from room to room, treating numerous patients and once and not really giving anyone the one-on-one attention that I think everyone deserves. When I met with him and told him about my anxieties, he assured me that I would get the best care when I came in for my extractions and that him and his staff would do everything possible to make me comfortable. He also assured me that my case was a particularly easy one(i had one impacted tooth and two that were already through the gums) and that once I was under anesthesia he would have all three teeth out in about 5 minutes. I took him at his word, after all, he is a «professional», and was able to schedule the surgery for 3 days later since they had a cancellation. The day of my surgery, I was unable to take my usual anxiety medication because of the anesthesia, so when I came in to the office I was visibly shaky and nervous. When the receptionist looked at me, she told me that«I had better calm down and stop carrying on». When I told her that I suffer from a panic disorder and that I was unable to take my usual medication, she replied with«I don’t care, if you don’t calm down, the doctor won’t be able to see you». I have never felt so insulted, my friend was even shocked by the way this staffer spoke to me(and she is not easily offended). Not to mention the needless time I spent waiting in the waiting room for more than a half hour after my appointment time because the doctor saw«emergency» patients on Monday mornings(which happened to be the day of my surgery). Why would a doctor schedule surgeries on the day he also reserved for emergencies? When it came time to head back for the procedure, I sat in the chair for a good 15 – 20 minutes while the doctor popped in and out while still tending to a few patients at a time. While in the room with his assistant I had mentioned that I was extremely nervous and she replied with«well, you could always leave”— probably not the best thing to say when you’re trying to keep your patient calm. When he finally came in to give my anesthesia, I had asked if he could put the needle in my arm instead of my hand and he said that wouldn’t be a problem since I had«nice veins». Well, he jabbed me 5 times until i finally stopped him and asked him to just go ahead and put it into my hand because I couldn’t take being stabbed anymore. The procedure seemed to go smoothly, i was told that no stitches were needed and I was sent home with a short aftercare sheet and a prescription for percocet. A friend drove me home and on the way, picked up my script along with some soft foods. I came home and ate some mashed potatoes and took a percocet and laid down to take a nap. Within about 20 minutes I was sick to my stomach because of the painkiller, so my friend called the office and asked if they could prescribe something else for pain since these pills were making me sick. The receptionist told her that it was my fault the percocet made me sick because I didn’t eat enough and that I shouldn’t be out and about, but in bed(apparently this woman thought I was out for lunch and a movie). After arguing with her that I had actually eaten and had been in bed since coming home, the receptionist finally put her on hold and asked the doctor to call in a new script, which he did. Not 10 minutes later I get a call from the pharmacy telling me that they could not fill the script because the medication they prescribed had interactions with another drug that I take regularly(which if anyone at Dr. Rothmans office bothered to look at the information on my paperwork, they would have clearly seen the two medications that I regularly take). So not only was the staff rude, insensitive and insulting, but they could have made me severely ill as well. Flash forward to about a month after the surgery, when i started to have extreme pain and sensitivity in the tooth next to where the impacted tooth was removed. Long story short, and after countless dental visits to try and non-invasively treat the problem(not to mention the countless advil it took just to get me through a day comfortably) — I am now undergoing a root canal in that tooth and also a bone graft, because Dr. Rothman left me with substantial bone loss in my jaw and severe recession of my gums after my surgery. This was the last resort to save the tooth and ease the horrible pain I’ve been in for months, not to mention the hefty dental bills I now have— I’m basically paying for his mistakes. Dr. Rothman and his staff left me with nothing but pain and suffering, and the entire experience was something I wouldn’t wish for my worst enemy. Stay far away from this practice.
