I started seeing Dr. Tony Blevins in early 2011 after my back problems just wouldn’t go away, and I don’t regret it one bit. Tony and his admin assistant, Tammy, are great people, who genuinely care about their patients. They get to know you on a personal basis, and remember you from one visit to the next.
If you’ve never been on one of the traction tables before, definitely try this. The rollers may hurt a bit at first as they loosen up your back, but after a minute or so it starts to feel like a little piece of heaven. I usually end up falling asleep while laying on the tables, but it’s quite a relaxing break from the rest of my busy day.
Tony’s adjustments manage to fix my back up very well. One of my complaints from a previous chiropractor I had was that they weren’t as aggressive in their adjustments, and it felt like they were treating my spine (healthy 20-​something) like they would the spine of a 90 year old woman whose spine might snap if she wore a jacket that was slightly too heavy. Tony has worked with me to change the aggressiveness of his treatment plan to work with my goals, and the strength of my spine. I know others who visit him who say they need slightly gentler treatments, and he happily accommodates them as well.
Even though I live about an hour away from Circleville now, I’m still happy to make the drive once a month or so, in order to get adjusted.
