I’ve always brought my boys on the weekends, but we we’r here on a week day for my sons 3rd birthday and came in during the lunch buffet, I didn’t expect it to be as good as it was they had a nice variety of pizzas and salads and keep them coming out often. The place is always nice and clean and everyone is friendly and atten

Apparently, my 6 year old son is suffering from musophobia, which is a fear of mice and rats. A child psychiatrist informed us, that in order for our little bundle-of-joy to overcome his fear, we must subject him to systematic desensitization. So after buying Tom and Jerry DVDs, Mousetrap board game sessions, and creating a real mousetrap mine field around the perimeter around his bedroom, we also decided to take monthly trips to the rat themed child casino! The first few times we came out here, we all had a great time, playing the standard Circus Circus type games with ticket rewards, and the generic assortment of sticky controller arcade machines. Distracted by cheap trills and rat jizz pizza, my son’s anxiety would stay at bay… Until Chuck E waltzes in! During the first 3 years of these monthly visitations, my son would have a panic attacks with barely an across-the-room glimpse of the gray, bright eyed furry. So now, after all the mental abuse, along with planting the seed of a future gambling addiction, no longer does my little man tremble in fear of the little shit rodent! On our most recent visit, my son even joined the rat and his minions on a sing-a-long. Their impromptu rendition of «heads, shoulders, knees and toes»(white people Macarena) was followed by Chuck E and his fluffy yet jolly bouncer making it rain with tickets!

Beware of this company. They don’t tell you the total. of your parry until after they charge your card for the 50.00 deposit. The representative was rude and her supervisor kept me on hold for ever. It took a lot of yelling and a supervisor to get my money back. Do not go with them for anything. Please keep in mind this was the call center and not the actual location.

I don’t ever come here for the food, but my daughter loves to come here and play. I would of gave it 5 stars before, because it used to be so affordable to come here and play. Now they switched over from tokens(25 cents a piece) to the card that you purchase credits for and its much more expensive than before. We still have fun coming here, its just not as good of a deal anymore.

My grandfather came from Covelo(4hour drive) to bring the grandkids here 3÷12÷16 The service sucked! The chubby cashier was rude. Found a table and had to ask the door lady for it be wiped off, since no one else was on the floor. No one came so I finally had to ask again. I went to the restroom and it was disgusting! I walked out and there was an employee coming out of a room. I asked if there was a family bathroom she said No. I told her if was so gross! She said Oh that’s not my job that’s Ross. Well I waited 5 minutes for Ross to clean the bathroom he never came! There was no toilet paper or seat covers I had to grab from the men’s which was horrible also. Finally went to the front and spoke with a Brittany or Rachelle was her name I believe she was so sweet. I told her about my experience and she said Oh I’ll go clean it. Where is the team work! You don’t serve that young lady she’s better than your location.

First time ever visit for my granddaughters ages 5 and 20 months old. As a retired elementary teacher, I have been to many«Chuck E Cheese Pizza Nights» and was pleasantly surprised at the nice updates including a swipe card to use for rides and games and the availability of well placed booths for people to eat while watching their party play games, ride or play on the climbing structures. I appreciate their focus on kid safety as you are stamped with an invisible number which corresponds to your child’s number. As you exit, these numbers are checked to make sure you have your child. We went on Dec 26 which was great as it was warm inside and not as many people as most were shopping.

This place is such a money pit! We paid $ 40 for a crappy, greasy, cardboard pizza, 3 sodas and an all you can eat salad bar plus some credits for the kids to use. Very few of the games take tokens anymore so if you‘ve been hoarding them like my youngest you will need to stand at the machine and painstakingly turn them into credits on the cards they provide… but watch out for the swiper on the games! My son was standing next to(not playing, just standing next to) one of the games and it was taking credits off his card THROUGH his pocket! He didnt realize he could say something to the workers there so he felt obligated to play the game… a few times since it continued to take his credits as he stood watching his friend play the game. So if your kids complain that they are out of credits too quick this may be why ;/The ice cream machine will try to rip you off also, it takes your money but rarely dispenses the ice cream bar. The manager was quick to handle issues(I saw him running around like a chicken with his head cut off) but it‘s just not worth it to me. I enjoyed it more when I could give the kids a handfull of tokens and have them check back in with me for another handfull… now you have to follow them around keeping an eye on the machine while doing math just to make sure they arent mysteriously losing credits lol. The vibe is the same there and the kids did have fun.

The cheese sticks were nothing but grease and same with the pizza and the salad bar had nothing fresh at all on it it was gross and no one had fresh salad stuff at all and also they had no lids to fit the water cups for the kids. I’m here with my family for my youngest son 6th birthday and I have been here many of times in the past.

Very disappointed family here. The food was actually ok but the management was not great and does not seem to care about their clientele at all. We hadn’t been here in several YEARS… But at my 5 year olds request we made the drive from Folsom, just to be extremely disappointed with the experience. I’d steer clear of this place. This family won’t be returning.

I’ll give 2 stars because they physically exist and provided some sort of entertainment to my wild tribe. Stood at the door for long enough to me to get annoyed and have to literally shout for someone to come help us. I walked over to the register… Again… I waited long enough to get annoyed and yell for someone get help us. And my response you ask? A girl looking at me and asked if I had been helped… Clearly NOT. Then I had for wait for longer for someone to help me. I wasn’t given cups when I ordered so I went back to the same woman and we had an interaction so brainless and anti social that I think I was actually grinding my teeth afterwards. I’d reach my word limit trying to recreate that horrible back and forth. As I said on my check in: I loath chuck e cheese and I go out of sheer necessity…

It has been my experience in the past that C.E.C is dark, noisy, dirty, and with lousy food. The last time I was there in SoCal was about 5 years ago. Simply put, I avoid it at ALL costs. So my next door neighbor’s girl had her birthday party there. The kids hands all get stamped and you get matching stamps as your kid. As you leave they check & make sure they all match. I dont know what would happen if someone messed up & gave you the wrong stamp by accident. Would they call the police? Is there security? So as part of the birthday party every kid gets a credit card instead of tokens-much easier to manage. But we found lots of cards with a balance on them so kids were leaving them on the machines. Shame. I saw some kids with lanyards or the stretchy bracelets to hang the card to prevent losing it. Great idea! They must be regulars there! So the place seemed pretty clean but in the over 3 hours we were there I didn’t see one machine get washed. There were lots of different kinds of games appealing to certain age ranges. I personally didn’t eat any pizza but my hubby said it was better than little caesars(which is the worst & most disgusting pizza around). They gave the adults their choice of pizza, chicken wings, french fries, garlic bread & unlimited soda fountain. The birthday girl also had chocolate and vanilla cakes which looked cookie cutter Walmart style 8−10″ round. All the kids seemed satisfied & there were 4 or 5 other birthday parties going on at the same time which made things very chaotic. All in all, the place has improved some. I will still continue to avoid it but just be warned that no matter how much fun the kids seem to have, it still feels like gambling. Take the birthday to somewhere like BounceU to wear them out & get away from the blinking lights and computer games. Good old exercise is still the best! Cheers!

Main complaints about this one, as to why I am reviewing it less than the other Sacramento are counterparts. 1) Size: Its not that big, less games than most, and ultimately at least a few are out of order(such as the bowling game). 2) I always appreciate(gag) when I am waiting in line for a few minutes while the manager and two other coworkers take part in friendly banter. I mean, its not like my little sister isn’t antsy after a week at school(and me after my two job lifestyle) to get right into the games. After the banter is over and attention is turned to me, then complain about working almost a ten hour shift with«this staff.» While it is not good business practices to bitch about your job around customers, you have little sympathy from me, as I work 40+ hours night shift in the ER, and guess what my second job is, lady… that’s right, working with kids. After venting to me, she finally took my order, and started to process my credit card wrong, and joked she should pay better attention. You think??? Sorry for the cranky review, but holy hell… learn how to do customer service in a high maintenance job, or go dig ditches.

This is definitely the perfect inexpensive place for family fun indoors especially for smaller children! !! The staff are amazing and the pizza are always super fresh! !! I like that they have a play area for smaller children where you can dine and still keep a close eye on them!!! My kind of place! !

hi-ya! it’s a place for kids… it’s not the cleanest, but again it’s for kids and they seem to have a lot if fun here. the games are cheap – if you compare the same game to say, Dave and Busters. the food is… not good, but I’ve never gone there exclusively for food. However the kids seem to enjoy the pizza there. what’s actually fun is the basketball games… i typically will see a lot of guys playing more so then the kids so win-win for dad’s and their kids. periodically chuck-e-cheese will come out and hang out with the kids. which is neat assuming your kid is not freaked out by him. overall 3 because it’s for fun, but if your an adult you really can end up leaving the place full of soda… because that’s the only thing edible.

Was here on Sunday for my nieces birthday. I have wayyy too much fun here for being an adult. It’s like Dave & Busters but super cheap. If only they had an adult game section.

So not a fan of the whole franchise but this location is definitely the best. Clean efficient and great customer service! We went for a birthday and the hosts were on the ball — kept everything moving and packed up the cake quickly and neatly. It wasn’t even terribly crowded for a hot Saturday in May.

This place is like the kids version of going to Las Vegas. Sounds coming from all directions, kids anxiously waiting for their«machines» to spit out their big winnings(tickets) and the more coins you give them, the more they want to spend. I took 5 kids to Chuck E Cheese’s for one my sons’ birthday last week. They LOVED it. They were each given a shitload of tokens and sent out into the madness. I wondered around, putting a token here and a token there. What a rip off! Before I even knew whatever game had started it was«game over» and spit out ONE ticket. The kids didn’t seem to mind as they would just keep feeding these greedy machines token after token and getting super excited over the ticket they got that would soon get them THEPRIZEOF A LIFETIME!(totally kidding, all they give out are those things you get per dozen at Oriental trading for about a dollar and even so the kids need like a gazillion tickets) As far as I was concerned there were only 2 really cool things there. One of them took a picture and sketched it for only one token and the other was a picture printed on a really cute plastic card that was worth more than whatever they got for all the tickets they accumulated and it cost only one token also. I had not taken my kids here in years as the last time I took them, one of my kids ended up hospitalized because he caught a really nasty virus from this place. I took them again because now they are bigger and know not to touch things and put hands in their mouths. Overall… the kids thought it was super cool, so who am I to argue with the ones that should know ;)
