Has more relevant items than the other stores in better areas. Better wines, furniture, and random doo-dads. Not many people either. Feels like I’m giving away a secret.

I never can resist passing by a World Market, especially in the fall and holiday season. Call me old fashioned, but there’s something so charming about putting together a few festive odds and ends to make a home more homey! I like this particular location and the one in Folsom probably because it’s never jam packed overcrowded like my home location in LA. I can take a little time and not fight over cards, candles, and ornaments. They always have my favourite coffee in stock. :) Usually I visit here when I come up to see my MIL who lives nearby. It’s always a fun trip because I find a nice soap or candle to bring back to her house and share.(She’s into the antibacterial stuff that kills my hands! I like the old fashioned stuff my self-lol) They have a really great selection of wine and Euro– snacks, as well as picnic baskets, so what are you waiting for? Get out there and have a party!!! TIP: Sign up online for their ‘explorer club’ and when you buy coffee, you’ll get double Points per bag on Wednesdays! Only 6 bags and you get a freebie!(Buy 3 on a Wednesday and you’re golden.)

What sad bad experience! I was so excited about the rug sale and I was ready to buy but I couldn’t get anyone to help me. I asked the cashier if she could send someone to rugs and she called for service but no one came. So then I did some other shopping and when I got to the cash wrap, I showed cashier number 2 a photo of the tag on the rug I wanted and she called for assistance. She was very unfriendly and I suggested that we could complete my purchase(without the rug) so the people behind me wouldn’t have to wait. Finally as we were finishing up the sale a clerk came up. None of the employees ever smiled or indicated in any way that they were happy to help me. Maybe World Market is a terrible place to work, I don’t know, but I am a customer with money to spend and I was treated like a pain in the butt. I work too hard for my money to receive service like that. Finally, after she checked the back(which took a long time, btw) I saw her talking to another customer. I approached and asked if she had found my rug. She said the floor model was the only one but they could take it down. I asked a question about the price and she turned her back on me to talk to another customer again! Honestly, I could have just left– she really didn’t care about my business, but I approached her from behind and said«thanks but I’m going to pass» because it seemed rude to just walk off– not that she even cared. Anyway, I’m giving one star for my products but I don’t plan to shop here again. This was a really poor experience.

Yay! My happy place :) I’m no longer allowed to shop here without the hubby since I will spend all of our grocery money here. I love the beer selection here as well as their furniture, décor for the home, and everything in between! The majority of my home furnishings are from here. They hold up nicely, are a perfect example of our blended personalities, and as always, well priced!

I had never heard of this place and it was in a location that made it hard to notice but I went in with some friends that had been there in search of exotic beers. They not only had a unique selection of those(build your own 6 pack!) but also a unique selection of everything! Seriously, they have all kinds of interesting things. I ended up getting Siracha popcorn, hard cider, a to go pack of nutella and dipping sticks, and a Ritter chocolate bar in addition to numerous exotic beers. Will definitely be back here.

I like shopping here. They have tons of stuff. They even have furniture. I like their food section best. You can find really interesting international foods here that you can’t find anywhere else. I love the candy and cookies especially. I have found some fun foods here. The first time I went here I had trouble finding it. The parking lot is sorta ok but spots close to the store fill up fast. I do like their bath and body section as well. You can find soaps, lotions, and other items. Some are scented. They have some nice paper goods too like cards. I have found some cute notecards here. They also sell wine and beer but its good to know its not chilled. Their wine selection is interesting. Also they have some beers from all over the world so its fun to try them. I really come here for the food section though most of all.

Love this store! I can always walk into Cost Plus and find something nifty. It also gives me great ideas as to how I want to decorate my house. Plus they have a great wine section.

This is the Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium for adults. Food, furniture, wine, jewelry, candy, toys, kitchen stuff, coffee, a variety of chocolate that makes you feel the love and just plain ol’ fun«junk». I love it that they have things from different countries from the foods to that fun«junk» I mentioned earlier. The soaps are one of my favorite things in there. A friend of mine purchased this bar of soap from Portugal and I fell in love with it. They didn’t have anymore at this particular store so they called around and located 14 bars total at different stores. They were all Purchased for ME!!! Now I smell all fresh and Portuguese(I am kidding). The wine selection is pretty interesting too. All sorts of weird names and choices. I give this place two very well manicured THUMBSUP!

This store is one of those places where I walk in non-commitedly(is that a word?) and then I walk out with a bag full of things that I «needed». This location always has at least three carafes of tea or coffee and a sampling station. Sometimes its chocolates, sometimes its potato chips, sometimes its cookies. It’s all good. Cost Plus has a great wine selection and they also carry… drum roll… Bundaberg Ginger Beer! Hooray! Straight from Queensland, Australia. They now have Vegemite(aka«axle grease») and Tim Tam’s(delicious chocolate-coated sandwich cookies), which go by the name Arnott’s Biscuits in the US. Last season I bought a set of stackable mosaic outdoor tables. They were clearanced to something ridiculous, like $ 29 or something for the set! You can’t beat that with a stick. With the furniture however, it’s pricier than IKEA and I’m not too sure on the quality. Keep an eye out for the occasional coupons that come out. Most of the time it is $ 10 off a purchase of $ 30. Now with a deal like that going on, you can stock up on lots of Toblerone chocolates!

This store puts me in a good mood just upon walking in. They have such a wide spectrum of gifts and things from so many cultures and regions, it’s fun to just go play around in. They have beautiful baskets, phtoframes, candles, etc. Definately a great place to shop for unique gifts… and while you’re there, you can grab a sample cup of the coffee and tea of the day. =]

I love it! It is nice for international foods that you might need to cook or snack such as India, Japanese, Greece, Italian, Mexico, Holland, USA, and etc. Also, they have pet care and foods. I tried Italian Soda with Lemonade. It was so good! It was only cost me only $ 1.99. They have Raspberry, Blood Orange, Grapefruit, and Lemonade. I also bought Don from italian spaghetti sauce but it was okay to taste. Nice to give out free sample of coffees and teas. Very clean area. Have many different kinds of Wine international with reasonable price. Recommended you to check it out! :)
