Heather Downs Apartments

I just moved out of this complex after living there for the past 3 years. The only reason that I moved is that I relocated to another part of town. I LOVE this complex & never had any issues. The manager Carrie is really nice and the maintenance crew is awesome. Dale always fixed things quickly and was very friendly. I always trusted that we would not let my cats out. There are lots of trees in this complex so there was lots of shade. I always called my apartment «my cave» because it was pretty dark and stayed pretty cool. All of these units come with a washer and dryer and a wood stove. I loved the extra dressing room area near the bathroom & the bedrooms are huge. If i am ever looking at apartments in this area again, I would definitely come back!

So far so good, Move in was smooth and the staff was very nice. They answered all my questions and were very quick on giving me updates on status. It seems to be a very quiet place, walls are thick can’t hear some one fart next door so to speak. Heating/​air great, could update though its a bit old school 70’s look. but loads of space and storage. Love the lay out of 2bed 2bath. super small fitness… kinda a joke. but all in all I think I will like it here, will keep an update.

So, this update is to tell everyone we were able to break our lease. It did cost $ 350, which is half of what they were asking for. I got in touch with the regional manager and after emailing back and forth a few times we made a deal. I still don’t think we should have to pay anything, however we did sign a lease and I do think this was a fair deal. Thank you Heather Downs. And, honeslty, I did like it there it is just unfortunate what happened while we lived there.
