Stopped by for lunch. Ordered a western bacon burger and fries. It was fresh and the fries crispy. The bun was like a crunch roll. I enjoyed the meal and would for sure be back. It is a small mom and pop place… sometimes such as this time they have better food than chain restaurants… plus your helping a little family business.

Cute little Mom & Pop café in a Target shopping center. We read the Unilocal reviews as we were looking for somewhere to try and thought we’d check out this place. Turns out the BBQ specials are only available on weekends. Korean owners are very friendly. The husband takes the orders and the wife cooks. When there aren’t any customers, the wife sits in front of the TV and studies English with her Korean dictionary. It was fun to observe. :) I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and my husband ordered the fried rice special, that came with some potstickers. Both items were just ok. Probably not something we’d go out of our way to order again. But the Unilocalers were right — the Godzilla drink is the BEST! We’d come back just for that!

Every time we come here the food is delicious, prices are good, and the owner is friendly. Food is such good quality, from their breakfast french toast to the burgers for lunch. I’m never disappointed here and I don’t expect to be. It’s also in walking distance from target, best buy, and a lot of other stores around. I come here whenever I’m out shopping.

Overall I’m really disappointed with my service today. I went in on my lunch break and waited at the counter for about 3 minutes until I had to reach over the counter and get some attention just to see them in the back corner eating and talking. Really? Is this how you run a business? Then to top it off, my clam chowder turned out to be potato soup and my hash browns were super burnt. I’m really not satisfied with my visit

The food isn’t bad. Had the bacon omelette… I’m really here to write about their hot mocha… It’s been awhile since I had a good mocha. You can def taste the combo bittersweetness of both the expresso and the chocolate syrup. Too bad I live too far otherwise I’ll be here more often…

I have been coming here for years. They are awesome! Personal favorite is the Frank Zappa.

They make a drink that kicks the pants right off anything from Starbucks/Dutch Bros… they’ve been there forever and they were the nicest people in the world to an angry young man over a decade ago. They may not look like much, but they’ve got it where it counts! TL;DR: Godzillas. You can thank me later.

I think this café has been around since before they remodeled Birdcage… if it hasn’t i remember going to one exactly like it after going the midnight showing of Rocky at the theater. Came in today spur of the moment about an hour before closing. I ordered a pastrami Reuben, my companion a mushroom cheeseburger. We both ordered fries for an extra dollar. I want to rate a mom and pop highly, especially one that’s survived so long, but my Reuben was not good. Fries were fine. It was also a bit overpriced at $ 6 for just a regular, no frills sandwich with normal rye bread, a reasonable amount of(cold) pastrami, Swiss cheese, and a little sauerkraut(i don’t care for thousand island.) I’m told the mushroom burger was good. I’ll have to come back and see if other things were better. Customer service was fine.

Been coming here for years! Pricey, but relaxing. The location is solid for a lot of foot traffic, place just needs a slight facelift. Otherwise great spot!

I have to be a little bias here because who doesn’t love a mom ‘n pop place. I was pleased to find out they serve better then decent food at a value on price. I had the bacon cheese burger and beef plate with rice and salad. both were good.

We found this place after going to the mall, which doesn’t have that many food options. It was funny because we were at the target in the morning and we didn’t even notice it. The food was good. We got the lunch special for 6.95. It was Korean BBQ with rice and a little salad. You get a good amount of food for the price. They offer more traditional American options also like burgers and sandwiches. Try it!

Came here for lunch on a Sunday. We both ordered the special: korean bbq(comes with rice and salad). Food came out after 10min. Very tasty and well priced. Ordered a side of fries too, which were crispy and good. Next time I’m coming back to try their burgers. Support your local korean business owners yo!

Nice place. Down to earth little hole in the wall. Nothing fancy but that adds to the charm. Yummy drinks! The food is good and the people who own and run it are great!

A good, all-around, mom and pop shop, with basic food done quickly and tasty. Ok, I hate to sound like a cheap-ass radio commercial, but it is true. I have been here three times, and they have burgers, hot dogs, some sandwiches, random candy bars, and a teriyaki chicken or beef plate. I usually get the teriyaki chicken plate… it tastes good enough, nice sized portion, and it comes with a small salad as well. Again, not high quality gourmet food, but good food, and the two owners(husband and wife?) are always friendly. For a good quick bite in a relaxed atmosphere, would recommend it.

I pass by Star Café all the time on my way to Target. Never thought much of it because the name is random and the menu is pretty basic. However today I decided to be adventurous and ate breakfast there… and wow! I was pleasantly surprised by how the owner made a simple omlet taste different than any other omlet I’ve had at breakfast joints despite the same use of ingredients. I devoured that thing so quickly. The food itself gets 4 stars for simply surprising me and the owner gets the extra star because he was really sweet and cheerful man. I’d probably go back whenever I’m craving a good ol’ omlet or old fashion burger.

A nice family owned café with a good selection of sandwiches, burgers, wraps etc. The Pastrami burger was satisfying, fresh, and definitely worth its 5 $ price. Friendly service and an awesome specialty drink menu with all kinds of frozen espresso things. Very cool. A good place to stop for a bite, super cheap.

The Godzilla is amazing. The owner always recognizes me when I come in and he is really nice. The food is pretty good though the prices do seem a little high. I like coming here because I am supporting a local business and the service is always good.

This place use to be cool ten years ago!!! The atmosphere is cold and boring and the prices for a simple made sandwich are laughable.

This is a place where you can sit and get something to eat after shopping. Its little place tuck inside Birdcage… I have been here plenty of times since college… Every single time I have been here… I got a sandwich and large Godziila. Their sandwiches are so big and filling. Godzilla is a mocha shake. Its so good and yummy… They have all kinds different shakes, smoothies and italian soda… They have a different name for every shake or smoothie. You can get anything here wraps, soups, burgers and breakfast. Everything is homemade and very fresh. The décor is 1950’s and 1960’s… There is pics of Marilyn Monroe, Elvis and other movies stars. There is old school jukebox in the corner. Its run by mom and pops type of business. They are so friendly and nice…
