Torrid

This is my favorite store and favorite location. I have to go to a fancy wedding and I needed a dress. I dont usually wear dresses and I was not happy about shopping for one. The store manager was so helpful and patient. All the other girls are awesome as well. Cute clothes for plus size women that dont wanna feel frumpy.

Love this store. The one in the galleria seems cramped and doesn’t have the selection like this location. They were very helpful with grabbing my clothes and putting them on the rack for me while I kept looking for more stuff. I had to wait like 5 mins for a fitting room because there were only 2 people on the floor, break time I think. Other than that it was a good shopping experience. I tried on a lot of stuff and they were on it with getting me different sizes and colors of jeans (I hate shopping for jeans!) I had to leave because I already spent more than I thought I would.
The employees are awesome!

First time coming to this store and I was impressed with the stock. The Arden Fair mall is usually out of everything and this was well stocked. It would get more stars however I felt misled. The clearance sign said buy one get one free but when I checked out they informed me no it’s buy one get one half off. I feel like they are just all about making more money not about making sure the customers understand.

Its been a while since i went in. But i remember this girl in a black n white striped top helped me. She put me in a fitting room n checked up on me. I told jer i just got off work n was walking home n i wanted to wear it out so she let me change in the fitting room. I asked her if i could have one if those cheap rubber bands behind the cash wrap (i used to work there from 2006 to 2012) she asked me what it was for n i told her i was gonna put my hair up. She excitedly said ohhhh u know what! I just bought hair ties… i havent opened them yet… she went in back n gave me one of hers. I didnt take it but i was sooo pleased that she went out of her way to do that. I wish i had gotten her name.

Such great customer service ! All the ladies are so nice and help you find exactly what you need. I use to go to Arden location, but I have to say sunrise definitely won me over.

I had so much fun in here, shopping for an outfit before my event! I had the pleasure of running into Rebecca. She’s a traveling manager, and I love seeing her! She remembers my name, remembers my husband’s name, when she greeted him, she also told him he liked very nice for our last event… of course, he was confused at first, but we caught him up to speed, and let him know that I showed her our pictures from the last event when I wore a beautiful Torrid dress…
So! I came here to exchange shorts, and buy a shirt. They kept the size shorts I needed on hold for a few days.

I took an extra few days getting in here, but everyone here was wonderful enough to accommodate me. I tried the shorts on just to make sure they were the right fit… and they were perfect! I got a black shirt with a white skull on it (I needed it to glow in the black light and it worked perfect, btw!) It also has flower on it, which sheds worse than a long haired cat…
They checked on me and asked if I needed anything while I tried them on. I also tried on some jeans and loved them too! Only downside to those is that there were no front pockets??? Next time, I need to pay attention for that.

Seriously I just had a blast shopping at Torrid on a Wednesday night near closing time.
I had a gift card and 2 haute cash certs and I was ready to shop. With about an hour and a half to close I wanted to go on a mini spree.
I found a lot of cute things and was set up with a dressing room. This is where my visit really shines. Claire set me up with my room and checked in with me often. She ran back and forth and offered suggestions and cheered me on about my selections. I really felt like I had a personal shopper. She had so many things to out away and never acted put out. She seemed like she was having fun helping me. (What a concept)
At one point I text my husband and told him I was having a ball. Now this is huge because when you have put on some weight and are feeling down clothing shopping is not fun.(In my opinion) I was really having fun.
We (Claire and I) eventually found some great pieces. Thank you Claire and the manager (she should own a cardigan shop) for such a positive experience. The two of you really made my night!

Thank you Erin for the awesome customer service! I have a big event tomorrow and she spent like 30 min helping me find the perfect outfit. I brought the jewelry I wanted to wear and she helped me find a shirt that went well with it! Keep up the great work!!! Btw Erin, the jacket worked perfect with the shirt!

Finally a store that doesn’t make me depressed and hate the entire shopping experience. I am a curvy girl and it is so refreshing to have found a store that caters to girls who aren’t toothpicks. Their clothes are so fashionable and flattering on plus size girls. I recommend torrid to anyone I know who is tired of trying to squeeze into brands like Abercrombie. This store has helped in embrace my body and feel comfortable being in social settings! Thanks Torrid!

Love torrid! ! I haven’t bought a pair of good jeans for a long time. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I did find a pair of jeans I liked that fit so good and were definitely worth it. Ive always liked this store. I don’t really have to go on a huge search for my size.

I’m a Torrid newbie and haven’t bought myself a decent pair of pants in years (I’m talking outside of going to Walmart here). So I decided to finally go and get some new pants. I felt intimidated at first because well lets face it ladies, we never want to see our pants size when we’ve gain weight. I decided to try on a few pants and BAM! I felt younger and sexy again! I was pleasantly surprised that I could look great in decent pants that actually fits! (in fact now I kind of need to get a belt so they don’t fall off me lol) Staff was very nice and patient with me. Even better that some knows me by name and I’ve only shopped a few times there! Great smiles, great service, keep it up ladies!

The two stars has nothing to do with customer service I received from Tiffany and Olivia. I walked into Torrid today and wasn’t greeted or even acknowledged until Olivia came out onto the floor and saw the pile of things I had already grabbed. She not only started a room, but asked what I was looking for and said she would throw in some suggestions for me. Once in the fitting room, she brought back many more suggestions and gave me her honest opinion on everything I tried. Tiffany took over when Olivia left the floor and was also amazing to not just me, but other customers that had came in. The 2 girls that were behind the counter when I walked in couldn’t even take two seconds to say hi to me or offer what deals were going on. This seems to be the norm. I shop there frequently and Olivia seems to remember me. It’s only worth shopping in there when she is working.

I’m a regular at this store and Gladys is FANTASTIC! She’s so helpful and knows exactly what colors and sizes would look great on me! It’s like having my own personal shopper!

Great clothes, helpful staff, and I am a definite fan. The staff is so happy to help you find clothing for any specific needs (work, event, etc). I am very happy with my purchases and can’t wait to go back.

I went in to use my birthday 10 dollar off card on two pair of jeans. Well apparently, I was just soo happy to find a pair that fit so well that I bought the jeans and forgot to use my card. At the urging of my hubby, I went in to see if she would be willing to let me return the jeans and repurchase them. She said it wouldn’t be a problem at all. This was awesome considering that I also forgot my Torrid credit card and they had to look up the number a second time. She really went above and beyond, and for that I will always shop here. I love this Torrid!!! Thank you to Kim for putting up with my dum dum moment.

Needed a dress for an upcoming wedding and I found myself at Torrid. I love the fact that the girls that work there actually wear the clothing they sell! Loved the fact that the girl that was working actually wanted to see me try my dress on and give me feedback! Im sooo happy with my dress and I love the fact that my credit card from them is glittery hot pink!

I love this torrid. its closest to my house. and they always have everything arden is out of. but most of all. the girls who work here are amazing. they are super friendly and helpful and fun! i had such an uplifting shopping experience today that i had to come home and Unilocal about it… so thanks torrid sunrise! you guys rock!
