Lets get lost tonight. By lost, i mean spend hours inside Tuesday morning on any weekday or weekend of your choice. Sounds tempting, doesnt it? I loved coming here while waiting for my reservation at benihanas. It killed time and it’s nice to know that a place like this exists near me. I would compare this place to home goods. Discounted furniture, household items, purses, luggage, kitchen items, cookware, pet supplies, books, toys, phone cases, phone chargers, and the list goes on and on. See what I mean by getting lost? Tempting, right? Makes me want to play house and buy everything. I recommend this place if you’re balling on a budget and love a good bargain.

If I could, I would buy this whole store! I love coming here even just to browse for fun. It always seems organized and clean to me; however, if I’m being honest, the customer service is lacking. The process of buying/returning things is very slow and the employees are friendly enough, but nothing to rave about. Still, I love spending my money here because they have so many different cute/useful/cheap things I want in my life.

Bad service! Walked in the other night to grab a pillow I saw an ad for about 10 minutes before they closed and immediately they told us sorry we’re closed! What?! There’s 10 minutes left! Nope they closed out the register and scooted us out. So rude!

If I could give this location zero stars I would. I had a HORRIFIC experience the other day. I decided to wait a few days before writing this to see if I would calm down or realize that I was being irrational. My husband was even appalled when I told him how I was treated. So here is my review. I bought a rug at the Roseville location(it was a round rug that was 8′ across) but since it ended up being too small for the area I wanted it in I took it back to this location since it’s closer to my house. Upon pulling into the parking lot I saw a Tuesday Morning employee(an ethnic woman with very short dark hair) loading a sofa table into the back of a customer’s truck and she had a dollie. So when I walked up to the counter(this woman was ethnic, too, has longer hair and is balding) I explained that I was returning an 8′ diameter rug but since I had my baby(she was in my arms) I needed help from possibly the employee I saw in the parking lot helping someone else. She said that she couldn’t return it and I needed to come back. I asked why couldn’t she return it and she said because they needed a man to lift it. I was confused because I just told her that I loaded it myself(I’m 5’4″ 125lbs) and I JUST saw the other girl lifting a much heavier object. I also told her AGAIN that I just need help. Its big but not heavy. So she said, «Ok, I’ll hold your baby while you go get it.» REALLY?! UHM, NO! YOU’RENOTHOLDINGMYBABY. So then I told her that was unacceptable that I need help and the dolly. She again told me I needed to come back. I was very upset so she called the other woman who I saw in the parking lot to the register. She also said they couldn’t help and that I needed to come back! I was so upset. Because if you have children you understand the hassle I went through to time it with her naps, get her dressed, fed, and loaded just to return this! I kept telling them that I just saw the one woman helping someone else and didn’t understand why one of them couldn’t help me. Another customer even pulled me aside and said they were being terrible to me and that she could help me. At this point I was so mad that I told them I would do it myself even while holding my baby. So I grabbed the dolly and went outside. Since I was holding my baby in one arm it was very difficult to push the dolly so I accidentally bumped into the sliding door which shifted it off track while exiting. I then put my baby in the car while I loaded the rug. I then had to hold her again while pushing the dolly with a rug on it across the parking lot all by myself. I was so enraged with how terrible these two women were treating me. The woman whom I saw helping in the parking lot came running out and yelled at me for hitting the door. I told her that I was sorry but it was difficult steering it with one hand while holding a baby.(Actually I more like yelled back at her because I was so MAD!). She then yanked the dolly out of my hands and pushed it inside. After she refunded my money I asked for her manager’s information and she said that she isn’t allowed to give it out. Gosh, I was so angry with the service I got and it was so difficult to keep my cool which I ended up losing it in the end. On the way out I stopped(again while holding my baby) and fixed the door. I feel that these employees are terrible with customer service and are so unaccomodating. I will NEVER shop at this location again. I will continue to drive the distance to the Roseville one where the employees have been wonderful to me. I hope this helps someone and strays you away from shipping here.

The first Tuesday Morning I ever went to was the one that this one replaced. I used to love that oddly-shaped building filled with ever changing, one-of-a-kind home products and decorations. It wasn’t as spacious and as clean as this new location, but it was cute, and the clerks were super friendly. At this new location, I have had nothing but horrible customer service experiences, which is extra-disappointing to me because I do still love shopping at many of their other locations. Many of the decorations in my apartment have come from their stores in Folsom and Tucson. I can’t give them only one star, because they still offer great products at great prices. This is still one of my favorite places to come to find random gifts for pretty much anyone. Most recently, I came in on a Saturday evening to return an iPod sleeve. I was in a hurry to get to my dinner plans, but I really wanted to get this one last errand done first. Also, I prefer to return things to the original location of where I purchased them, and I had purchased the sleeve at this store a few weeks earlier. I walked into the store and went straight to the registers. There was no one there. I stood there for ten minutes, and no, that is not an exaggeration. I’m not even sure why I stood there that long, except that I just got caught up wondering if anyone worked there at all, or if the workers had all left without locking up the building, or what. Finally, a woman who had been chatting with a man about glasses for the entire duration of my visit so far came up and said«Hi.» I said, «Oh, do you work here?» She said that she did. I was kind of shocked, because I thought she was that guy’s wife. I mean she had seen me there for ten minutes and had not acknowledged me in any way or paged any back-up or anything. I told her I needed to return the iPod sleeve. She told me that I had to return it to the card I purchased it on. I asked her if it would be possible to get cash, since I had paid with debit and it was only $ 8.53. Furthermore, my experience in retail is that you should always cash out things less than $ 10, and that it’s always okay to return debit purchases as cash, but maybe that is not Tuesday Morning’s policy, because she told me that it had to be returned to the card. I felt that the way she grabbed the card from me and swiped it was quite aggressive and rude. She pushed it back to me across the counter, and asked me to sign a statement, so I did. I didn’t want my receipt and figured I was done, so I decided to leave. As I was literally two feet from the door, I heard her yelling, «Excuse me!» I turned around. At this point there was a line of 3 – 4 customers, who were turned around staring at me. Cool. I went back, and she asked me to sign something else for the return, so I did. Then she asked me to fill out another form with a bunch of personal information like address, phone number, and I think email address. I got kind of upset about this. I mean first I’m not allowed to have cash, and now I have to fill out all this paperwork for an $ 8 iPod sleeve that pinches my arm so hard that I was sore for days after trying it… I ended up just walking off with just my return slip, just in case she tried to post-void it or something. I really felt that I was being treated like a shop-lifter when my return was 100% legitimate. The sad thing is that all of my experiences at this location have been like this. The customer service team at this store needs some serious re-training.

3 stars because I was only there once and I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt and if I ever visit them again, I’ll be sure to update. OK, now on the store… I don’t know why but before coming into this store I had something totally different in mind. I was thinking like organized, pretty and fun linen, household items and random trinkets but this store is total chaos and just looked like a giant warehouse with stuff thrown all over the place. It was not fun for me to look around this mess. And the prices were seriously ridiculous even on their clearance stuff which mostly consisted of stuff I wouldn’t want for free. I guess my expectations made me shop here all wrong. It’s like a messy Big Lots with some things that are better quality. Maybe I needed to go in with the mentality that I would be playing something like a scavenger hunt but I just wasn’t in the mood for that. Maybe next time.

I happen to really enjoy this place. Like most places like this, its really hit and miss. Sometimes you want to buy everything in the store, and sometimes everything seems less then desirable. However, I know this location is new because they’re old one burnt down, and looking on the brighter side, Im glad it did. Its so much better! Its actually competitive with the one in Folsom which is also impressive. Good job guys, and thanks for helping me furnish my house! ;)

If you want to find 800 count sheets for $ 40 bucks this is your place. I know after 400, what’s the point? The point is you can get 800’s for $ 40. The shelves are often messy and mostly household items, but it’s basically a clearance store. What do you expect? And everything in the store is at least 50% off. My favorite find is a Micheal Kors bag that I got for $ 55 bucks.
