This place is so much more than a fitness studio, it’s amazing. Aside from getting excellent, challenging and informative guidance from Jessica, who’s been an amazing trainer. She also offers meditation classes, and spiritual & life coaching as well. Mind, body and spirit work all in one visit! The women who come here are from all walks of life, all ages and various fitness goals and we all push each other to do our best and accomplish great things together. I’ve made several new friendships here. I have been working with Jessica since July to get my butt in gear for my upcoming wedding, and while I’ve always been able to get a good workout on my own, I’ve never been challenged and inspired and gotten such quick results as I have with Jessica at Winks. Her cardio, conditioning & weight training have already helped me improve my strength & stamina significantly and I’m so excited by how well I’m fitting in my clothes. And I can’t wait to see how good I’ll look on my wedding day, too. I feel wonderful and am so grateful to have found such a wonderful place to get in shape physically & mentally.

Where to begin… Last May, I had just finished a workout at another gym and on my way home I stopped at Baskin Robbins(BR) to get my an ice cream cake for my husband’s birthday. As I was sitting in the parking lot waiting for BR to open, I noticed a sign that said, Wink’s Fitness and Wellness Studio. I was intrigued, so I wrote down the name and looked it up when I got home. After some searching, I found a blog that appeared to be related to the studio. After reading the blog I decided to email the owner and see what her studio had to offer. Jess told me to come in on Saturday and try out a boot camp(for free) to see what I thought about the studio. I won’t lie, I was a little intimated when I first walked in, because a lot of the women were in pretty good shape, after introductions, class started and I made it through the workout. I still had to finish up some classes at my regular gym so I was unable to start working out right away. Jess told me that she would be starting a 30-day bikini challenge starting July 1, 2014, she said it was a good way to kick start my fitness plan. in addition to myself, I convinced my friend, my sister and my daughter to join and do the 30-day challenge too. I personally lost 5 inches around my waist, I lost 1 inch on each thigh, and I gained ½ inch on my arm(very exciting!) Well, here we are in six months later, its now January of 2015 and I could not be feeling better or looking better! Out of the four of us, three of us are still consistently working out with Jess. My sister came down with an illness and is currently unable to work out. This is a small gym, each and every one of us started out as a «new client», the workouts are hard, but as long as you don’t give up, you will be amazed at how things will change for you. The age range of the clients seem to be about 20 to 55+, I myself am 46. One more thing, if you do join, Jess will give you a meal plan, if you really want to see results, you need to stick to the meal plan at least 80% of the time. The meal plan is easy, and we all give each other tips and tricks to help each other stick to the plan. With all that said, if you want to make some lifestyle changes, this may be a good place to start!
