Had a really bad experience here.
Food was basically a spoonful of salt and my mouth felt numb from all the salt I ate here.
Their wifi was great, password is their phone number, and you know its great when you can register for classes there. Service was really friendly, loved the guy who could rock that manbun, and overall really good customer service.
Although, downsides were the food, too much salt, expensive, and sorry but it was not worth it. Good HD pictures of the food on the menu, but really you’re just looking at a tub of salt in HD. Sorry being salty about your food, if you have an adults’ tongue, stay clear from here, otherwise, go for it if you like salty.

Authentic Chinese food serve in palace. They do deserve higher price! First of all, I will never compare them to any other Chinese restaurants, because they are «different».
Service is good. It’s a Very clean place with beautiful decorations and proper music!
I love most of things on the menu, especially I love the lobsters with egg yolk. If you are looking for spicy Sichuan food and exotic spices, you will like here! They serve True Chinese food! By the way… All you can eat lunch is outstanding too! Only $ 9.99

I had a bad experience here. I came on a weekend and was expecting a lot of people. The result was the opposite. The restaurant was empty and there were annoying creaking sounds from where I sat. The waiter didn’t know a lot about the food. Furthermore, a lot of food were not available. The taste is not good. I won’t recommend this place again. I was devastated by this experience.

Best place for seafood and Szechuan food.
I’ll give it a five star if the price is not so expensive.

Fusion cuisine integrates the elements of a variety of regional culinary cuisines into one spectacular dish.
Zheng’s Fusion Chinese Restaurant entices your palate for what’s to come with its spectacular bright décor. The color palate is made up of black, white, and gray tones with contrasting lighting fixtures. Two large, vibrant red, Chihuly-​style glass lighting sculptors contrast the white ceiling above. Another colorful, Chihuly-​style, glass chandelier hangs over a table in the southwest corner of the restaurant. Chrome fish figures are suspended from the ceiling in the front entrance creating the illusion of swimming fish.
Our group is seated and the waiter places an ornate iron teapot full of tea at our table. We open our menus to see the fusion dishes displayed beautifully.
…Okay, my creative juices just ran out.
Zheng’s is a salt-​lovers paradise. All but one of the 10 dishes we ordered were heavily salted. I can’t really describe the flavors because the saltiness overpowered my taste buds.
I think Zheng’s places more emphasis on its food presentation than its food taste and quality. All their food came on oversized plates, or is it just that their portions are so small that the plates looked big. One example of their presentation is with their pineapple fried rice. It is served in a hollowed-​out pineapple. The fried rice was soggier than I like. The pineapple was placed upright, which made it difficult to scoop out the rice. As far as fusion food goes, pineapple fried rice is hardly «fusion» food. You can find this dish at many Thai restaurants.
The sliced pork belly with a spicy sauce ladled over it seems more like a Szechuan or Hunan dish. The monk fish was hard, not crispy, on the outside and a little dry on the inside. A dark brown sauce was drizzled over it.
The black pepper cubed beef was unusually tender, which was suspicious to me. Again, this dish, or similar dishes, is also on the menu at other Chinese restaurants. So, I would hardly consider this dish «fusion.»
The one dish that wasn’t salty was the orange squash dish. It was the only dish I actually enjoyed for all it’s natural unadulterated flavor.
Come to think of it, based on what I just wrote above, maybe Zheng’s IS a fusion restaurant. It’s just that their idea of fusion is offering dishes from different regions in China, NOT creating cuisine infused with different flavors from different regions of the world.
One positive comment about Zheng’s was there was one waitress I thought was pretty cute.

I would give it a 4 for the food, but our server was super super nice, so I bumped it up to a 5.
First of all it is pricy for this area. But the service and ambiance is awesome.
Normally I’m a stickler to traditional Chinese food and didn’t like any of the weird fusion stuff. This place, to my surprise, does this whole fusion thing well. Some sichuan dishes are on the sweet side, but it’s not the gross kind of sweet. Hard to place my finger on it, they tickled the right spot. We had a dish with their sausage in it, the heat was great. Since I’m from Sichuan, I like my things hot. The spicy kidney though… Holy crap it was so tender and so good. Most places over cooks the kidney and make it chewy. But ours was just right, made my night!
Yes it’s a bit upscale, I wouldn’t come here for a bowl of soup noodle. But I would definitely bring people here for birthdays and celebrations.

It’s been about a month since I’ve been here, and I still think I’m not even gonna give it a second shot.
The servers were nice, albeit slow. We ordered, and my dish came out lightning quick. The chicken had a LOT of heat, but was still yummy. Cold a little, but yummy. It was a really small portion, so I felt like I didn’t eat much when I shared it with my husband when they just were not bringing out his order. Despite asking how long it would take, it never really came for whatever reason, so we just chalked it up to them forgetting him straight up until the server who handed us the check looked it over. It was disconcerting after she wordlessly flew back there, she came back with his order of the duck. We had to decline accepting it at that point. It was probably sitting there for a long time with how fast she came out with it.
Another thing I have to point out is: please monitor what is being shown on that Instagram + Twitter feed you guys have on the television hanging on the wall. While a lot of the pictures were amazing, there were some pictures of flies in food with a sad remark beside it. The «Thanks for sharing!» made it hilarious. The Twitter feed was a little weird too, with someone tagging Zheng’s and making a comment about his private part. «Thanks for sharing!»
The horse is weird. The chandeliers are nice though.

We were first introduced this place by a friend of ours and because it is nice and fancy setting, and suppose to be a fine dinning chinenese restaurant. But it was way below our expectation. And even a way below standard as regular dinning. There was not services during our entire meal. We even had to get up to the counter to get the water pitch to refill the water ourself. A waiter who might be owner or manager wear sweat pant and t shirt to serve food. Our food were all brought in once including the soup. By the time we finished the soup, all other dishes were cold. The food were so plain, such as crispy sesame chicken, just cannot believe it called signature dish. it was terrible with no favor whatsoever. Every dishes is small and pricey. I would not mind to pay the price if it is good — food and service. But it was not worth at all.

You will like this restaurant if you only like to take pictures of your food… You can immediately notice this from their lavish designs and their dishes. Everything is fine until you actually eat your food.
It’s not a family oriented restaurant but more of a restaurant to take your Chinese clients. I would only recommend this restaurant if you only care about the vibe rather than the food. The actual food only takes up to 10% of the total size of the plate.

I’m definitely one for giving mom and pop shops a chance. But this place is ridiculous.
The food that I got was not only small portions with a big ass price tag but all the dishes I got were super… soft. And I mean baby food soft. dumplings skins were literally slipping off the meat, green veggies, I probably could use a straw to slurp it up.
To top it off, they have 1 waitress being hostess, server and busser. I felt bad for the girl because the cooks wouldn’t stop hitting that damn bell to let her know the food was ready to serve not realizing she’s busy with a customer.
As a customer, that’s effin annoying to keep hearing that ding ding ding ding ding.
4 dishes, took almost 1 hour for every single one to arrive. I usually understand the delay if the room was a packed house but there was only one other group.
I can’t seem to understand why this place racks up the price tag when they serve super small portions. Going to other Chinese restaurants, I could pay half the price for full stems of asparagus but this place cuts them up into smaller pieces and I pay twice as much. insane.

After seeing the ads on Chinese TV and some good reviews from my L.A. friends we decided to give Zheng’s Fusion a try before the drive back to the Bay. We got there right when they opened 11 am on Sunday morning. Their large heavy, colorful picture menu was very helpful. The décor was really nice with couch like seats along the wall.
Dan Dan Noodles 5 stars!!! comes in a small bowl with thin noodles and ground pork. The best Dan Dan Noodles I have had in the USA. If you come here you need to order this dish. excellent!
Razor Clams 3 stars over powering minced garlic with glass noodles. Hard to taste the clams.
Smoked Fish 5 stars !!! fish is seared to a crisp. The fish was fatty, soft and decadent. excellent! a must order.
Hot and spicy Kidney 3 stars The kidney slices were small with extra large black ear fungus. Just OK
Pork Knuckle in spicy sauce 4 stars The pigs feet was cut into small pieces. Sauce was good.
Shredded Okra 3 stars Shredded nicely but the sauce was bland.
White ear fungus with fruit desert 4 stars
Service was excellent. Some hit or misses on the food.

This is a pretty nice Chinese restaurant… meaning the service is actually quite good and the servers don’t mind making eye contact with you.
This is supposed to be a Szechuan restaurant, so I was expecting some major spice, but was completely let down. There was nothing here that made me sweat. I think this might have been due to too many complaints previously about how spicy the food is. For those of you who aren’t big on spice, you probably don’t want to go to a Szechuan restaurant then. That said, the food was actually pretty good.
Dan Dan Mien — the noodles are excellent and so is the sauce, the only thing I would complain about is how small the bowl is! I wanted the equivalent of 5 bowls of this semi-​spicy goodness.
Wontons in Chili Oil — fantastic wontons, just wish the chili oil was spicier.
Chicken Wings — sticky, sweet, and placed on a bed of chilies… there was a little bit of spice here but nothing to sweat over
Crispy Sesame Chicken — this was very tasty but the breading was a little too thick for my liking.
Pepper Steak — this was good, but not great.
Walnut Shrimp — this was ok…
Coldcuts in Spicy Oil — yummy, not spicy…
The décor in here is pretty crazy. Parking is ample.

Good Szechuan /​Spicy food!!! I like that the restaurant and food seem a lot cleaner than most establishments in the area yet authentic. Not as oiler and salty, but still tasty.
Started with:
–Ma-​la tofu bean curd
–Mu-​er served marinated in a black soy sauce/​vinegar/​spicey liquid
Main:
–Lamb, pretty tender and good
–Dan-​dan noodles. YUM
–Chicken herbal soup. THE BEST SOUP EVER.
The service is good, great ambiance and well-​lit. Only thing is it’s a big pricy.

I did come back again after I received a message from their owner.
This time, I came back without notified their owner. And I do see their service is so much better. But the taste of food is still so so. My friend like their peanut appetizer, so he have asked for refilling for three times. But the server came and told us we can only refill once for next time. They are going to product and sell their special peanut over the counter. For me, the special peanut is just ok.

I think if there is one thing you can give for free and some people like it, you should keep it that way. They can make their money somewhere else. I do see they got a lot of potential. But now, three stars is the best I can give.

As a minority — white guy — living in Rowland Hts, I’m not a fan of most of the restaurants around here. Zheng’s Fusion is an exception. The staff are uncharacteristically friendly. The language barrier is greatly exaggerated in the other reviews. The staff are well dressed, attentive and eager to help.
The décor is a bit shocking. Really a feast for the eyes. After you step inside you can’t believe believe you are in a strip mall. Some items are extremely beautiful and others, well, a bit curious. The seating is very comfortable. The menu is more like a coffee-​table book with gorgeous pictures and unfortunately numerous grammatical mistakes in English. Be prepared to spend a good 15 – 20 minutes to get through it.
The food is mostly amazing. I recommend the sesame chicken, pepper steak, walnut shrimp, kung pao chicken and spicy catfish. The tofu was the best I’ve ever tried. Obviously, these are the ‘safe’ American-​friendly dishes. Other items on the menu are a bit scary to me (turtle, sea cucumber, something that looks like a burned pigeon) but to each his own. The vegetable dishes are, in a word, plain — not unlike the complementary dessert. The prices are reasonable and I always take left-​overs home.
I’ve been back several times and love taking friends from out of town here. They are, so far, very appreciative.

Omg! I don’t even know where to start. This Monday night, we took a couple out of town guests there for dinner. It was a total embarrassment. Let’s start with the menu. Considering the amount of $$$ they clearly spent on the fancy décor, they seem to have over looked the importance of the menu. It’s a massive book adorned with colorful photos and printed on handsome stocks, they could’ve at least spent a small amount for someone, anyone who has some knowledge of English to do some proof reading. The amount of typos and grammatical errors throughout the almost twenty pages is just bewildering, and embarrassing.
The biggest complain of the evening though, was when the waiter suggested a fancy fish dish. We inquired as to how much it was per pound. He replied dismissively that it wouldn’t be very much at all. The dish arrived in an over sized bowl, that’s what they meant by ‘fancy’. The fish was so average in it’s preparation and flavor, not to mention the amount of scales that’s left on the fish (and in our teeth) was simply unacceptable. We told the waiter about it, he went to the kitchen and came back with the most ridiculous reason given by the chef we’d ever heard, «the regular fish ‘cleaner’ was off today». We were all aghast by the reason given, but remained polite. The worst part was the amount we were charged for the dish, $ 285.00! That’s for just the damn fish dish! You can get much better fish dishes just down the block for a fraction.
During the course of the ‘fancy’ dinner, a sashimi geoduck dish that was filled with ice started to melt, raining water all over the table and on some of us. This dish set us back $ 180.00. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t worth the price.
Throughout the whole evening, from approx. 8:30 pm to 10:00 pm the manager or owner sat nearby in the dining room, doing paperwork in full view of the diner. Even though we were the only table that the time, it was nonetheless unprofessional. Given the efforts they went through to try to be upscale, please do your paperwork in the privacy of an office.
Yes, the restaurant is fancy looking, but it lacks so much in terms of ambience. Multiple TV sets on every wall blaring cheesy Asian sitcoms and sporting events simple scream «I have lots of money but I don’t have any taste!». The lighting is too bright throughout the entire restaurant, feels like you’re in a diner.
The wait staffs are well dressed and polite, but sorely ill trained, with very poor language skills, particularly English.
Let’s talk about the term ‘fusion’. If you consider randomly decorating the plates with flowers and randomly placing droplets of Sriracha or other sauces means this place serves ‘fusion’ cuisine, you are sadly mistaken, misguided, don’t know much about fine dining, or just plain don’t know the meaning of the word. The place serves mainly standard, with perhaps one or two exotic dishes from different regions of China. Not unlike the numerous other Chinese restaurants in the area, they just don’t charge the exorbitant prices this place does.
Those of you out there who are still curious about this place need to head over there quickly, for I have a strong feeling they won’t last too long. No, I do not wish them ill. If they should succeed, despite all the negatives that are stacked against them, I say good for them.
My sincere and humble opinion? This is one very pretentious establishment. Not worth the time or the money. Oh, btw, this was our second trip there, so it’s not like we didn’t give them a second chance. But it’s most definitely our last.

I would give 3.5 stars if possible…
The restaurant’s décor is very impressive for a Chinese restaurant. It looks more like a lounge than a restaurant. Imagine as if Bellagio and the SLS had an affair and gave birth to this restaurant. The huge horse in the back of the restaurant is cool but so unnecessary.
The menu was well done, great photos of the dishes so you know what you are ordering even if you don’t speak Chinese.
I really liked the comfy couch type seating they have but square tables for family style dinners don’t always work out very well.
My mother in law ordered all the dishes and they were pretty tasty. The presentation is well done but most of the dishes were pretty spicy. There were a few items I would like to try in the future.
Service is good for a Chinese place, the waitresses’ uniforms remind me of flight attendant’s outfits. Most of them barely spoke English and their mandarin was hard for me to understand so you gotta be a little patient.

Another upscale Chinese restaurant in this area, this one is more of Asian fusion style, very impressive décor, beautiful chandeliers and lights.
Went there on their soft opening, they already had beer and wine, nice! Had Sapporo to start. The menu is big, it’s like a book, they have photos for all the dishes, which is very smart in my opinion, dining people can look at the photos to get an idea of the dish they want to order, makes things a lot easier! Vast menu too, very well categorized, cold and warm appetizer, soup, meat, poultry, seafood, veggies, live seafood market price, rice, noodle, desert in both Chinese and American style and more!
We tried a few dishes:
Cold marinated chicken in red spicy sauce: very spicy, but so delicious, very tender white meat!
Fungus with green onion and pieces of scallops: very soft and tasty fungus, loved it.
Live fish with assorted spice and red bell pepper: sooooo good! I ate most of it! It’s been a while since I had yummy live fish!
The food was absolutely delicious, great service, eye candy waitresses in professional yet still easy on the eyes uniforms. Live up to the upscale Asian fusion restaurant standard! The manager asked us to give advices on whatever they can improve in the future.
They have a few private dining rooms too, the seatings in this restaurant are very comfy and classic. It’s rare to see in the Chinese restaurants in this area, I really like that.
Ps. The servers can only speak very simple English, %10 off on their opening.
