Kadel’s Auto Body – Clackamas

No good customer service, looks Like they don’t wanna work, I saw 6 people doing nothing, I was the only person there and when I went in everyone turned to look at me, they told to come back cuz they were busy, oh well I’m Not going back

My car had been hit while parked so I had to get some body work done. Jim and the team at Kadels made it a painless experience! They billed the insurance company directly and communicated with the car rental company to ensure that they were able to pick me up. Jim said it would probably take about 9 days and they had it done in 5, all while keeping in touch with me via email during the process. They took care of not only the damage that was done when my car was hit, but also some minor damage that had been done a few years back. My car looked perfect and beautiful when I picked it up! Much to my dismay though, I managed to get a couple deep scratches within days of picking up my car. No problem though! Jim and the team once again rolled out the red carpet for me! He got me in right away, they filled in and buffed the scratches, even dropped me off at the mall while I waited! No extra charge :) This location is out of the way for me to go to, but I would not hesitate to go back for any body work I need in the future, and I will recommend these guys to all my friends and family.

Came in to get an estimate for an insurance claim, hopefully to be paid by our apartment complex after someone thought it would be a great idea to clean gutter debris from my hood with a PUSH BROOM. Consequently, there were a ridiculous number of scratches. Certainly buff-​able, but irritating nonetheless.
Made a same day (!) appointment, came in, and the offered to just polish it as a complimentary service, since there wasn’t a crazy amount of damage. When I off-​handledly remarked it was ironic that I had just purchased touch up paint from the Volvo dealer last week, they then offered to use it to touch up any spots!
Why? He said that he would just like to have us back when we *really* needed it. Awesome. How things should be done. Will be back if needed, and will certainly recommend. Thank you!

I had a great experience. My repaired 2013 Mazda (hit by speeding car) looks brand new, and it drives like a dream (if fact, it seems to drive BETTER than it did even brand new!). Everyone there was polite, professional, and efficient. They buffed out a scratch that wasn’t even related to the accident, and didn’t charge me extra. They washed my car and vacuumed out the interior. They also gave me freuqent interim updates (via email.) On the morning I was there to pick up my car, it was quite busy. Still, the office manager, Elle, took the time to go out and rescue an elderly lost (or possibly abandoned) dog that was running around in the parking lot, looking frightened. She brought her in, gave her food and water, and calmed her, then took her first to NW Veterinary Hospital to see if she was micro-​chipped. When she found that she was not, she took her to Clackamas County Dog Control where she will be cared for until her owner claims her or until she is adopted. Elle said that, if the dog isn’t claimed, she will likely adopt her herself. I had to take my Porsche in for repairs last year after I was backed into in a parking lot. I originally chose Kadels because they were close to my home but I was nervous because Porsche uses a lot of layers in their paint process and I have a silver flake paint on my car. Kadels assured me that repairs were completed with the same steps as the factory and that the factory issues paint colors each week based on minor tweaks in their paint. Kadels matched up the paint perfectly, almost a year later I still can not notice any difference and I wash and clay bar and buff my cars regularly so I notice every flaw.
Last month I noticed that my car door on my Lotus was out of alignment and was given a quote from Ron Tonkin Gran Turismo to adjust the door and it seemed high so I figured I would give Kadels a shot at my specialty automobile. Damian helped me with the process, the quote was much lower cost than Ron Tonkin and they took care of two slight scratches in the clear coat while the car was in. Car was done as promised and better than what I asked for. I was impressed by their high level of service and great follow up for somebody as picky about their cars as I am.

Great customer service, free coffee and a free carwash so your car looks much shinier when its done, then when it went in!

It is very rare for a business to show any kind of professionalism now days. That when it actually happens, you are in shock, and it needs to be told about.
A concrete support in a parking garage jumped out at me and caught the right front fender and bumper and turn signal light, on my «98 Dodge Ram Pickup. Normally I would not worry about such things as it is an older truck, but there is no dents in the body.
I went to a competitor that starts with L. Lets just say I am not writting about them. When he found out that I did not have comp insurance, he basicly told me they could not help.
I had to get the turn signal light fixed, since it was illegal not to have it. I went and bought a replacement bulb and some duct tape and a plastic sheet and fixed it red neck style.
I live just down the road from Kadels in Clackamas. So I thought I’d stop in and see how much it would cost to at least get the light fixed.
After speaking with receptionist, Brad White introduced himself. He asked a few questions, then he wanted to inspect the damage. Now one of the reasons «L» would not help, is that they said there may be some internal damage. The first thing Brad said when he saw the damage, was «A concrete post?» I never told him what I had hit. Brad also said there is no internal damage. He said we can do this in 3 parts or sections, the turn light, the fender and the bumper.
Brad made 3 seperate estimates for me, and said the cheapest to repair is the trun light, at $ 100 for the parts and labor, and he said we can do that this afternoon. I said Ok lets do it. Since I did not live far, Brad suggested I go home, and he will order the part, and when it comes in he will call.
Brad called at about 2:30. When I arrived, at about 2:45, he said give them about a half hour to get it replaced, by about 3, Brad said they were all done, and are washing the truck and it will be ready to go.
WHAT? They were washing my truck? That was unheard of!
I was so impressed from start to finish, the attitude of all the staff, and the proffessionalism shown, the speed of service. I cannot say enough good things about Kadel’s.
I will be returning to get the fender and bumper fixed. You can count on that.

Kadel’s is a very professional and efficient service and repair body shop. I am from Seattle, and was very nervous about leaving my car down in Portland after I got into an accident. Kadel’s made me feel very secure and fixed my car nicely. I now live in Portland and if I need an auto body shop, Kadel is who i will go to and who I will refer to my friends.

Great service! My car was finished when they said it would be and looked amazing. They really do great work. I had filed a claim almost 2 years ago and got an estimate. I didn’t follow through with the repair at that time so I was very pleased when I called recently to make another appointment and all my information was on file. They handled everything, which was very nice for a change!
