Roy’s been grooming our four-year-old Scottie Toto since 2005. Last year, Roy also began grooming our Yorkie puppy Bailey, and we continue to be very happy with Roy’s services. On two occasions, Roy has also groomed and trimmed my long-haired cat. Otis loves water, so grooming him was not a major issue, but Roy does very well with«problem children,» hence his success in grooming my Scottie, Toto, as further described below. Rain or shine, Roy and his grooming van appear at our house every six weeks to clean up and trim our fur kids. Toto tends to be a huge fidgeter, and detests having his nails trimmed. Toto gets very worked up and can get nippy when someone tries to trim his nails, but Roy is able to deal with his disagreeable behavior very well. Where other groomers have been scared away from completing Toto’s grooming process in this regard, Roy has not. According to Roy, Bailey the Yorkie is no problem at all during the grooming process, but I have no idea how he can even trim her, as I personally think she is as fidgety as Toto, although she does not mind having her nails trimmed. Roy’s prices are comparable to any upscale grooming salon, but the great thing is that he comes to your home and grooms your kids in his mobile grooming salon in much less time than it would take at a regular grooming salon. As a result, you don’t have to leave your pets at the groomers for several hours and worry about heatstroke from the blow drying process, etc. All I can say is that I hope Roy does not plan on retiring anytime soon, because he’s great with our pets and we’d love to continue to use his services for years to come.
