These guys did a 100 to 200 Amp upgrade for me and it went really smoothly. SQ1 was punctual and professional.
Jim did the estimate and was happy to answer questions about brands and scope of work when I called him back several days later. Work was done by Wayne and his apprentice Nate. They were both courteous and Wayne gave me some tips for getting a discount on home-owner’s insurance because of the safety equipment they updated.
The county inspector found no problems with SQ1’s work and was impressed with the way they labelled circuits headed into the breaker box so you can see which circuit you are working on when the cover is removed.

I’ve been using square one for my electrical issue/​needs I’ve had in my home for years. Trouble shooting old electrical problems, installing a line to my hottub, exterior plugs. etc. They show up on-​time, are professional, clean up after themselves and do exactly what they said they would. I plan on using them in the future.

These guys were amazing! They were available exactly when I needed them and at a very reasonable price. I had to have some wires re-​routed from a knocked out wall, an electric range plug converted to a gas range plug (220v to 120v), a switch moved, and all my old 2-​prong outlets changed to 3-​prong. I also had GFCI’s installed where they needed to be. They were very friendly and knowledgeable and made the whole process very painless. I would totally recommend Square 1 to anyone!
