Sometimes three stars can look like a bad thing. Not the case here. Chilton County Airport just is what it is. It’s a 4,000 foot runway with a decent gas nozzle and some hangers. It’s a great place for practice maneuvers due to it’s low daily traffic.
The fuel is self service and pretty easy to use, although it took it a few times to read our card. Beyond that, this runway is equipped with PALC and not difficult to locate at night.
