I just ate some of the freshest peanuts I have ever had. I wish I had purchased more. I may have to stop back on our way back home(WI). Would love to try the peaches but we alway come though in Dec. We did not visit the attached restaurant. We did purchase a pecan pie to try out at Christmas(from the freezer section). They also had single servings and other candies, nuts, fresh produce and a variety of clothing, gift items for everyone. I would have loved to look around more and probably spend more money but husband was in a hurry-you know how that goes ladies! I saw a dish towel that read, «All I got for Christmas is fat. I got fat.» Lol. Lots of unique items. I would love to stop back-hopefully before next year. Maybe I can talk my husband into a short road trip(14 hrs one way) to come for peaches.

I’ve been here in several occasions. I choose to come here when I don’t want fried food or fast food. The sandwiches are ok. Fresh but nothing special. It gets the job done. It’s always extremely crowded. It’s crowded for the ice cream, which is excellent. Mint chocolate chip and Ricky road are very good. It’s very over priced though.

½ fresh food stand, ½ restaurant with ice cream. This is was our 2nd stop at the market on the way south to the beach. With cars, busses, and even a Disabled Vet bus out front, you’d think it was City Hall for Clanton, AL. We ordered sandwiches, which were fair. Afterward, we got ice cream. The chocolate had large ice crystals in it, which gave it a terrible mouth feel — like licking frozen, chocolate rice. YUCK! We’ll make it our last stop.

I live in Alabama for decade already, and every time I drive to the beach, I passed by this place. I always wanted to give it a try but I never bothered to stop, this latest time I change my mind and decided to give it a shot. The place was booming! Half of it was a market the other half was a restaurant. In the market there are fresh produce. But you come for the ice cream so you have to go to the restaurant. By far this is the cheapest ice cream place I’ve ever been to but it is absolutely amazing. The ice cream taste so creamy and so rich, the flavor with present by not overwhelming like a lot of other ice cream places. Would definitely be back to visit.

This is such a good stop on our way to the beach; good food, southern hospitality and neat shop & market. We stop at Durbin’s going to the beach and coming home every time!

Excellent selection of produce, gifts and ice cream. It’s nice to have mint ice cream that isn’t overly sweet and has lots of mint. Better than your standard chain of ice cream places — give it a try.

This place is perfect! I’ve been coming here since I was a kid when we’re headed to Birmingham! Love the fresh produce & of course the homemade butter pecan ice cream. Such a delicacy amongst all these fast food chains. Nothing like homemade from local farming products! The pecan pies are also delicious! Lots of things to choose from!

I absolutely LOVE this place. I drive here once, sometimes a couple times a year from my home, which is 278 miles away just for the PEACHES! They are BEST I have ever had – big, sweet, & juicy – just the way peaches are supposed to be. I have never bought bad peaches from them. They have added a super cute Women’s Boutique full of trendy clothes, jewelry, purses, accessories, and shoes @ typical southern boutique prices. They also have an assortment of boutique-style gifts, from brands like MudPie. The desserts in the café are yummy as well. If you are ever in the area, especially driving too or from the beach, you will not be disappointed in the quality of fresh produce they offer :)

Durban Farms has the the freshest produce available in the south. Clanton has great produce available here. Also, check out the strawberry bread. It is great.

If you travel I-65…at ALL… Then you are probably either a «Durbin’s guy» or a «Peach Park person.» I happen to be addicted to Durbin’s. The available Peach Varietals change each week… …so I will come up with ANY excuse to drive to Clanton during the Summer to sample the«peach du jour»!!

Nice market just off the interstate… we drive a few hours during the summer to go and pick up some fresh peaches and enjoy the peach ice cream that we just can’t seem to get anywhere else. If I thought it were possible, I’d have a 3 gallon vat of the Peach Pecan ice cream on hand to make it though the non-peach months. As if three gallons would do it… *sigh*
