Really great tasting burgers and French fries for a very affordable price! I got a cheeseburger with a side of small fries for around $ 5.90 and it was the perfect amount of food for lunch! Friendly service with shaded outdoor seating and nice inside seating. My girlfriend liked her empanadas as well. I will definitely be coming back soon!

Not sure how to explain it, but their burgers taste different… in a good way. And their fries are the all-too-rare crispy and flaky style. So addictive. They make it to order. So fresh. No need to waste time and money at chain burger joints when this is around the corner.

I ordered the Tilapia burger and for $ 2.50 more, added chipotle-black bean patty. It’s not on the menu that way, but I was hungry and had a hunch it would be good. I asked Gabby to «put her foot in it,» and hook it up with grilled onions and a lil extra seasoning, romaine lettuce and tomatoes. Omg it was sooooo good!

I’ve been shopping at Trader Joe’s for dog years and never stepped in this joint until last week. After a grueling workout, I was craving for burger. Back Abbey and Eureka were not opened at 10:30am, so I gave Boca Burger a try. It hit the spot that day. The wheat bun was soft. The meat was a bit on the dry side but the special sauce made the day. The burger is a fraction of the price than Back Abbey and Eureka and it is worthy of every penny you pay if not more. I will go back.

Bought a groupon for this place. as soon as I walked up it wAs a small dingy hole in the wall. Food was unimpressive and I honestly feel like I got duped. The lady the cash register was rude and food looked nothing like the picture. I asked for the burger sauce people asked about and couldn’t taste it in the burger. Empanadas are frozen & u get your choice fried or baked. Nothing special there either. Groupon was $ 15 for $ 30 worth of food I honestly didn’t even want $ 30 worth of food from here I wanted refund. I was caught up by how bad the place looked and I honestly was looking for the dhs letter on wall. the picture of the«business» Is not that corner nice one shown. it’s the hole in the wAll next to that place.

This is defiantly not a fancy place, maybe 2 people working Max. I only like one of the items here, the chicken wrap. They have several tortilla choices and the wraps are huge I normally split one. They do take a while to make the food but you can always call ahead. Even though they are a «Burger» place I was not that impressed. Maybe because I compare good quality burgers to eureka or the back Abby. Either way, online at they normally have discounted coupons which is why I come back.

I like Boca Burger, don’t get me wrong. Especially after being in Argentina for some time you start to miss the food. But there are things about the Boca Burger that rub me the wrong way. First of all the chimichurri is nothing to write home about. In my opinion it’s more like a salsa because there is a hint of tomato that doesn’t reflect the traditional recipe. That doesn’t mean that I don’t like it but I definitely wouldn’t use the word chimichurri to describe their sauce. Also their prices have risen a lot going on last couple of years. I don’t see how a veggieburger can cost more than five dollars when you can go to The Habit or In-n-Out for a cheaper, delicious, burger. On the plus side, I like their fries and empanadas. My boyfriend really likes their burgers and usually gets the cheeseburger. As far as empanadas go, the veggie is good. The spinach one lacks cheese, but it’ll do. When we went today the lady said they could only make them fried which was disappointing because I prefer them baked. The place is worth a visit, especially for random argentine things like mate or membrillo. I haven’t had any of their sandwiches de miga because they don’t have vegetarian options. We go to Villa Roma in Laguna Niguel often and they have a huevo y aceituna one. I’d suggest that place if anyone else is in that area as well. Overall, Boca Burger will do in a pinch.

I was in search of a small burger joint.(They always have the best burgers) I went for lunch and I’m only a 5 minute drive away but when I got there is seen it was suuuuper packed with college kids. whatever it’s lunch time I figured I’d be in n out. Well not really. practically spent my whole lunch waiting there for my food. As for my lunch I got the typical burger. It was alot different than other burger joints. Tasted very clean and fresh so with that being said I’d definitely go there again:) Just avoid lunch time.

That’s right, Unilocalers. My cousin and I left Boca Burger saying, «Eek! Methinks not.» We were originally headed towards The Last Drop Café for some juice to cleanse that late-night Friday McDonalds regret away. But all it took was the«Milkshakes» sign outside of Boca to enter our field of vision before we both confessed that deep down, we wanted to cleanse the fat with more fat! After what felt like the hardest decision ever(as does every time we order food), we finally agreed to share a croissant breakfast sandwich, a potato and cheese empanada and a chicken empanada, and for ourselves, a strawberries and banana milkshake(my cousin) and a nutella milkshake(me). Sounds good, right? Well, both food and drink fell short. Shorter than the happiness meter of the cashier, who personified the atmosphere and décor of the place quite well: a bit disappointing and unfriendly. I had suspected that we were overcharged for something after we paid because the order didn’t add up, but alas, we were not offered a receipt so waiting for the food became a bit of a guessing game. After ordering, we sat ourselves down and ten minutes later, were told that there were no more croissants. We opted for the alternative which was just a breakfast sandwich on an English muffin(which was cheaper than the croissant sandwich that we paid for, but who’s counting? :)) Alas, our food comes, and on the plate there are three empanadas instead of two! I wouldn’t be complaining if they were actually good, but if you can’t already tell by the tone of this review, they weren’t. The 2 potato and cheese empanadas were burnt on the outside and even the potatoes on the inside were burnt(see picture). I could have complained and asked them to make us non-black empanadas but they weren’t even that good in the first place. Also, they took more than 15 minutes to come out, so forget that. My nutella milkshake was watery(see picture), while my cousin’s strawberry banana was thick(where did I go wrong, world?). The egg sandwich was sad, and it looked like the kind I can make at home if I popped one of those frozen egg sandwiches in the microwave. Boca’s weren’t microwaved but they sure were on the same par as the frozen kind. You might be thinking: if this is a burger place, then why would you order not-burgers? Well, because Unilocalers are apparently fans of their empanadas, and the business advertised their milkshakes outside the establishment. As for the sandwich, this restaurant offered the food I ordered on their menu, so you can’t blame me for eating what I believed would be tasty, serve-able food. If it’s on the menu, why would it be bad, right? I’ve gone on too much, but in conclusion, food is food. Good food is good and bad food is bad. You can make your own judgements when you order their burgers, but as for the other food they have, don’t say I didn’t warn you.

I came in for the first time and ordered the bacon cheeseburger meal *with chimichuri*(per a Unilocal recommendation). It was delicious! However one of the cooks ruined the experience with her bad attitude. The menu says it comes with chimichuri, but I went ahead and asked for it anyway. They brought my burger and it didn’t have chimichuri, so I went up and respectfully told the cashier. She was nice enough, and asked the cook if she had put it in the burger. She looked angry, mumbled something, and gave me the stink eye! The cashier apologized to me and said she would add it. She brought it out to me and I told her that«I hope I didn’t make her too angry», referring to the cook. The cashier again came out to apologize to me again after I was done, to which I said«no worries, the burger was great!» Good food(bacon burger), nice location, but I probably won’t return because that chimichuri situation left a bad taste in my mouth.

Boca Burger in Claremont was a pleasant experience for my wife and I. We stopped for a late lunch and each had a Boca style Burger and it was delicious. It was an Angus Burger that was grilled just right. The patties appear to be hand made and about a quarter of a pound or more. The bun was fresh and served hot off the grill. Everything about the restaurant was neat and clean and the ambiance was cheerful and bright. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pricing of the items on the menu was less than I expected and definitely less than the Claremont competition. My rating is FIVESTARS for the experience, ambiance and the food. On the way out we bought a Rice-Krispy treat to savor and share. A perfect end to a tasty light lunch. Rating by Richie B.

I had their Spicy chicken burger and my husband had their bacon cheese burger. He right away became a fan of the taste of this burger which is great! Everything was fresh and I loved the fact that my spicy chicken burger was not fried! Chicken was tasty also. You had the choice of onion rings, salad, or fries with your burger. Fries were fresh and salad was tasty also! I had their chicken empanada(baked) and it was quiet amazing that they gave you to choose, when it came to the empanada either being baked or fried. I must say I was just a little bit let down because of the empananda since I had read reviews stating they were the BOMB. I may have choosen incorrectly with the kind of meat I chose in it? I wouldn’t mind giving it a second chance.

This is one of those reviews you feel bad writing. Food was all wrong but the people working at this Argentine burger place were really nice and friendly. I ordered 2 spinach & cheese and potato & cheese empanadas. I guess it was the way the dough was prepared and baked. The empanadas were hard. The burger was grilled and made fresh but lacked in flavor — season fries also lacked flavor. Can’t a person get good service and good food at the same time? I should have just gone to Empanadas To Go, that would have been a safe bet. The Empanadas there are phenomenal.

Having lunch at Boca Burger is a pleasant experience. You order(even ahead over the phone), you sit, you chat, then your tummy is happy. My wife works real close to this spot and having lunch with here here is a good quick eat. The employees here are friendly, they explain to their customers what exactly is on their menu, and they are truly helpful. The ambiance is casual and there are booths inside Boca. The place is fairly clean. I say fair because the tables could’ve been wiped down dry and clean. There are restrooms for customers only. There are benches with the umbrellas outside and there is a Trader Joe’s next to it. Our order: the double bacon cheeseburger. Their burger patty/meat has chimichurri blended in it. It is 100% angus burger. The verdict: Super delicious!!! This burger is only $ 6. We love Boca!!!

Stopped by Boca Burger this afternoon for a late lunch around 2 pm with a friend. Boca Burger is located in the same plaza as Trader Joe’s(The Spot is also right next door to Boca Burger). The parking lot has only 45 minute parking spots, but you can just park at the lot right across from here(at the Citibank, which does not have a time limit) in case you decide to stay in the plaza a little bit longer than that time. Anyways, I ended up getting the grilled chicken salad($ 6.99 prior to tax) and a chicken empanada($ 1.75 prior to tax). I forgot to ask for the empanada to be baked, so it was automatically brought out to me fried(I wish they would ask you if you would like it baked or fried). The chicken salad was pretty standard(in a good way) and I did like it. Salad dressing automatically comes on the side which is nice. The chicken was tender and you get a good amount of chicken in the salad. The chicken empanada came with some kind of salsa on the side which really went nicely with the empanada. I liked the filling inside(chicken, rice, tomatoes, sauce) the empanada. I would definitely order this again(and try another version next time). The person who took our order was friendly and she also checked back with us after we sat ourselves after we made an order at the counter. She also took away our dirty dishes after we stayed a while to catch up and chat away. Pricing for this place is pretty affordable. Seating inside is kind of small. But I honestly do not see this place really getting to crowded. But if there is no seating inside, you can always sit outside as well(and bring your 4 legged friend as well). I was disappointed that the unisex restroom ran out of the essentials(toilet paper, seat covers) though.

This little Argentinean joint packs a mad punch. I had no idea what I was getting into when I stopped by but I’m glad I did. The owner is very friendly and pretty much explained the whole menu to me which I’m grateful for. So I decided on the Boca Cheeseburger combo. Each combo comes with a medium drink & your choice of soup, salad, or fries. I had to try the Boca because that’s what this place is named after. I forgot all the ingredients but it’s the meat that makes the burger. In the Boca burger the meat is marinated with parsley and olive oil in combination with a few other ingredients that sadly I don’t remember. Just know that it is off the chain. The burger smelled SOOO good and didn’t stand a chance. Every bite was tasteful and memorable. I wish this burger lasted forever. Now on to the fries. The fries are some of the best I’ve tasted. They are home made and fresh. The thing that sets these fries apart is that they are cooked in their own skin. It may sound weird, but when it hits your taste buds, you’ll know. I also tried their empanadas and they are . Stop here and try it if you’re in the area.
