Glenn Miya MD

Dr. Miya has been a fabulous doctor for our family. He was a long time pediatrician for our two children, then was willing to take on my wife and I. We were very lucky to have him and feel he is the best doctor. I am writing this review out of guilt. We switched to Kaiser, since our old HMO plan had very limited choice of specialists and we had some negative experiences with them. To stay with Dr. Miya AND have a adequate choice of specialists with my insurance options would have required me to select an expensive PPO… Dr. Miya has really made the life of my family better and we miss him already.

Dr. miya is the best. He is caring and patient. He is thorough and a good listener. Dr. miya once met us at his office at 9 pm yo help with a situation with our three y.o.when the urgent care would nor help properly. But don’t ask him to do that regularly, he need to ho home sometime, rest and tske care of all of his own adopted children! Check out the courier archives for a great story about dr.miya.

TOP NOTCH! This pediatrician really is as good as it possibly gets. I’ve been taking my boys for the last 10 years and counting to Dr. Miya. This is the most amazing doctor I have ever come across. No matter if we are there for mundane preventative care to emergency situations, to the most bizarre collection of symptoms, Dr. Miya has always gone out of his way to provide thorough, complete, and compassionate care for my children. he takes the time to listen to everything you have to say, then explains things in great detail, also making sure the child understands to the best of their ability. Dr. Miya was able to accurately diagnosis a rare condition in one of my children and referred them for all of the appropriate, specialized follow-​up care and treatment. He truly cares about each of his patients and really goes above and beyond, consistently, every time we see him. I don’t know what we would have done without Dr. Miya. I feel very fortunate to have found such an gifted and dedicated physician for my children.

The absolute best Pediatrician I have ever had for my girls!!!
I don’t know if he is currently accepting new patients, but he has seen all three of my girls and we all loved him! (Unfortunately, we had to switch when my husband changed jobs, and we have never found anyone who has come close since!!!)
He’s GREAT with kids– very gentle and kind, but VERY knowledgable and goes out of his way to make sure your child is treated for whatever ailment they are coming in for, but also takes preventative steps to ensure they won’t get sick again!
Located in a quiet medical office in Claremont, you definately will NOT be diappointed seeing Dr. Miya!
