Best pizza I’ve had in a long time. Got there right when they opened and place filled up very quickly. Great service and friendly staff

Yesterday 13 friends and I had the opportunity to have a little longer lunch than usual. We gave our lunch order on Thursday night. The next day when we arrived, our salads and drinks were waiting for us with name tags and everything! They were so accommodating and the service was incredible! The food was also yummy! Thank you!!!

Went here on a date! Pizza was delicious and so was the salad. The customer service we got from the young man that helped was great. No complaints here.

20 beers on tap that rotate. They are exceptional in their selection. Proper glassware that is VERY clean. Their customer service was well-informed, professional, and friendly. LOVED or server Jaime. The food, however, is over-priced, VERY greasy, and a bit bland. We tried the meatball sub and the butternut squash pasta. Maybe the pizza is better, but the«such» is sub par. Will come back, but ONLY for the service and the beer events.

Everything I ever knew or thought I knew about pizza was wiped from memory yesterday evening. I ordered a medium great special to go, I now wish I had ordered two. It was love at first bite! It made me feel like I had never had eaten pizza before, it was #AmaZaZing! My 71yr old mother told me this morning that she went to bed craving another slice, «estoy si es una Pizza!» She commented while enjoying a second slice, my father ate the fallen scraps from the box lol, We will have to come back soon, sincerely missing you in San Diego!

Pizza N Such has been my #1 favorite pizza place since I was a kid. I recall visiting the shop on a very frequent basis before it was expanded to take over the old pharmacy building, when it was just a tiny, nook-and-cranny place with less than a dozen tables. It’s changed so much over the years, but the pizza is still AWESOME and the owner still runs the business very well. Sometimes the wait staff(mostly college/high school kids) can be a bit absentminded or rude, but I do not blame the establishment for that at all– and who doesn’t have bad days? I also want to highly recommend them for parties. Every year I have my birthday here and they are careful to honor all of our requests. The little room in the back is a bit cramped but still nice if you want privacy or have little ones who like to ‘escape’ a lot.

The pizza was good. I liked the crust. It certainly wasn’t the best I ever had. However, overall it was still a pretty good pizza. The service was slow.

Pizza was one of the best pizzas I’ve had. So glad we stopped in to try this place. We got an 11″ half/half pizza and a salad. We ordered our pizza half pepperoni & jalapeño other half roasted red bell peppers, mushrooms, pesto drizzle. They sure do not skimp on the toppings. They put so much toppings you are guaranteed to get some of the topping in each bite. Service was good. Servers were attentive and made sure we had our drinks refilled. Good job! We will defiantly be coming back when we are in Claremont.

I’m guessing the reason this place doesn’t have close to 5 stars is because people may be rating other items besides pizza. As for the pizza, this is my favorite pizza in California! I bring visiting family and friends here and I’ve never heard anything but positive comments regarding their pizza. Love it!

Great quality!!! Great cheese– high quality & perfectly melted. When they messed up on my pizza order they APOLOGIZED, the manager personally came out, & they offered me a free beer. Great all around. Z pizza Claremont could learn A LOT about how to run a business from you.

This place is great. Tasty pizzas, craft beers, tvs, and wifi. Generally great speedy service too. Their happy hour isn’t really a happy hour, but rather a beer special of the day. Some days are ale days, some are local brew days, and some IPA days. Perhaps it was because of Super Bowl Sunday, but the place was basically empty and yet service was at a crawl! It took me several times to ask for my check and three times to ask for change, then I had to ask for $ 1’s. Honestly who doesn’t give $ 1’s when someone only orders two beers?

Went in on Sunday around 5:30PM. Customer service wasn’t horrible, but they get busy quickly. Since beginning this revue we’ve been every other Sunday around the same time. We order a large with pineapple, ham, and jalapeño’s on one half. The large is enough for two to split and a toddler to dabble in, with plenty of left overs for next day old pizza.(Sandwich two slices together, and put it in your waffle iron… YOU’REWELCOME!) Seriously. You’re missing out if you don’t have and iron. We’ve also have ordered the garlic fries, the side salad and mozzarella sticks. All good.

I should have read the reviews. The service staff is a bunch of amateurs. 1. The good thing is that a pint of craft beer is $ 3 or $ 4. Here’s the bad news: 2. The Staff dresses like crap. Two ppl, two beers, one pizza, that’s $ 50. And the staff-dresses like it’s some dumpy pizza place. Crappy shoes, crappy shirts that are not coordinated with one another. Yet the establishment itself looks great-just the staff looks like they work at your local pizza place. 3. The hostess not only didn’t know about the beer specials or Happy Hour specials, she made zero move to learn about them. 4. The bartender and hostess do not know how to put ice in a drink. You’ll get a warm drink. 5. The staff does not approach the front of the table to address you. They approach the side. So you can’t see ‘em. 6. They do not answer the phone in a professional manner. 7. The frickin’ bartender was unable to say how much the beer cost that was on special. The employees are unprofessional hacks. It’s not worth the money. If you’re going to spend your $ on dinner go somewhere else, there’s plenty of nearby places.

I’ve been to Pizza ‘N Such twice– the first time was great. Delicious pizza, fast service, nice atmosphere, good beer selection(probably the best in town), etc. The second time… food poisoning. Earlier this week, my husband, 1-year-old daughter, and I split the goat cheese pizza and the house meatball. My husband and I were violently ill about 4 hours later. It lasted about 24 hours– pretty classic food poisoning. We’re guessing it was the meatball + sauce it came in. My daughter only had a couple of bites of the pizza crust, and she was fine, thank goodness. So, in spite of the great beer and good initial experience with Pizza ‘N Such, I’m afraid we won’t be back.

I was not impress with this place. I read some reviews and saw pictures and was excited to go. But sadly did not live up to the reviews I read. One good thing I got was their passionfruit hard cider. But other then that it was whatever. We got their garlic fries($ 5.95) and basically it was just fries and they threw some garlic mince on it and melted some cheese. The fries didn’t even taste garlicky at all and the portion was not big at all. I was very disappointed with it Then we got the BBQ chicken pizza medium($ 19.95) and although it was good we had to ask for BBQ sauce on the side because you couldn’t really taste it. I think it’s a bit over price for what it is. I saw on some Unilocal reviews ppl getting half and half of things but they wouldn’t let us which was a bummer. So over all I think this place is a bit over price and I probably wouldn’t go back here. Service was great though. Very friendly and nice.

This is a really unique establishment in an old restored historic 1912 building full of architectural detail. The interior is simply beautiful. One a the very few super clean places I’ve been to. We were seated right away. Drinks and appetizers ordered. We ordered Buffalo wings, and the were delicious, not vinegary at all. Perfect. Ordered a extra large pepperoni pizza and a extra large the«great special». Both pizzas were full of toppings and cheese, and perfectly baked. The both were some of the best pizzas I have ever had. Top quality! What I really loved is that there are no arcade games and screaming kids running around. While they do cater to kids, it is a great place to hang out and have a beer. They have a huge selection of local beers on tap. Try this place out, you’ll LOVEIT!

Lunch today was very nice. Good dinner salads with fresh greens and tomatoes. We both had out favorite sandwich, the New York. Not to big but just right. Italian meats, with shredded lettuce, mayo and tomatoes. Service was good too, which was a shocker. Service is usually terrible here with all of the high school college kids that would rather text a d socialize than work. It has gone on for years nit we live the food. Pizza is our favorite as well. Never greasy just fresh…

Not the best, not the worst As I walked in, I tried to get a feel for this joint. Waited and waited and waited. I looked at my watch since I was sorta on a time crunch it took four minutes until I was actually greeted, despite the fact there were three employees at the front booth. Finally someone came to sit my guest and I. Once seated I waited and waited and waited. I looked at my watch again and this time it took 7 minutes to be offered drinks and asked what I wanted to eat. Keep in mind this place is nowhere near busy. Maybe a few parties here and there. Anyways we got our drinks and ready to order. When I placed my order I was given the amount of time it would take to make and cook my pizza. Now I guess it wouldn’t be such a huge deal if I wasn’t in a crunch but if you say 10 minutes for my pizza to be out, don’t take 20. Maybe 15 minutes would have been acceptable. Other than the service everything was good. Like their pesto sauce. It is really really good. And the pizza too. I tend to create my pizzas with my favorite toppings everywhere I go. I believe each topping cost $ 1.25 So I got the pesto sauce, pineapple, chicken & red bell pepper. Good food Not so good service

I have been eating at Pizza N Such since I was a kid and it was a tiny little restaurant with only a few tables. I have since moved away, but when I come to The Village to visit, this is our«go to» place when we aren’t sure what we want to eat. I love the pizza here. It is quite good and the dough is delicious. They also have good salads and serve the dressing on the side. On a recent visit, I tried the eggplant parmesan sandwich which I was very pleased with. The eggplant was fried crisp and had just the right amount of sauce and cheese. I like that you can order just a slice of pizza and a salad for lunch. We came during Village Venture day; it wasn’t too crowded and we were seated right away. The service was great. The servers were very attentive and kept our water filled. The bathroom was clean and they were diligent about keeping it that way since it was a busy day. Here is the the one thing that I did not like: They were charging extra for drink refills because it was Village Venture Day. Not sure why and I thought it was kind of rude that I would have to pay for more for a refill of soda, iced tea, or lemonade. The water was refilled for free thank goodness. It is The Village so parking is on the street or in one of the public lots. Just be sure to check the time limit on your parking.
