The best place for men’s suits in claremont. Armond has excellent taste, quality clothing and great staff. Great stop for interview suits, special occasions and for college professors looking for so cal style.

An unusually pleasant experience! My visit today at Xerxes was akin to stepping into a time machine and going back to a 1940s haberdashery, when real service and subtle, helpful salesmanship was the norm. My compliments to Arman, who is the founder and obviously the heartbeat of a rare shop. Will definitely stop in again when in the market for fine, tasteful, reasonably priced clothes.

Xerxes is a great place to shop for high-​end men’s wear. The owner Arman, as well as all of his employees, take fantastic care of their clients. My husband has picked out some great pieces and I’ve been able to find great gifts for him as well. I’m largely clueless about men’s fashion, but I know that with the help Xerxes’ staff, what I pick out will be stylish and beautiful

Unfortunately the Inland Empire has absolutely zero in quality men’s stores. Nothing. Nada. Xerxes gets some brands that you won’t find anywhere else around here. And Arman does find some gems out there and I’ve gotten a few things that have been real faves. He also has a very very good eye for color, and if you buy a suit he will get you a couple shirts and ties that will really stretch out your wardrobe dollars. I’m careful to make sure what I’m buying is the right size. I’m between a short and a regular and bought a suit that was after the fact too long for me.

Arman is a top notch guy and thoroughly knowledgable about the industry and trends. They have a great staff with great attitudes. I often go by to sit and sip wine and chat about clothes and shoes etc. I’m lucky to consider Arman a friend.
Through help with my wardrobe and help with gifts for important clients, we’ve developed a respectful friendship. It’s nice to have a discerning eye when you are dressing for success. A candid «No, that doesn’t look good on you» can save you from embarrassment later.
Very convenient location with pretty good parking. Super selection too.

I’ve been a customer of this store for some years. Xerxes stocks high quality men’s wear, with a snappy casual look that i find difficult to discover elsewhere. In addition, there are tailoring services to put the finishing touches on whatever you buy. Excellent place.

Xerxes for Gents provides quality clothing – many places do. Arman’s knowledge of fashion is second to none. However, what makes Xerxes the first place I will go for a suit or dress shoes, among any other clothing needs, is the exceptional customer service. I already know I love the fabrics and the styles Arman carries in his store, but the way he takes care of his customers… you’ll feel like royalty. Xerxes is amazing!

This is a fine menswear shop. Silks, linens, and breathing blends that all hang with a grace that fits the male form. The owner has on each occasion we have shopped there been able to demonstrate and explain the proper fit and wear of the clothing to enhance my husbands body and movement. The fittings and alterations are always included and you can bring the slacks back two years later and have them drawn in or let out. Those are the details, but the backbone is that this shop offers amazing passionate service that you will never find in a large department store, this is the real family owned and run business with pride. I would recommend this shop to all of our male friends for the quality of merchandise and the personal service.
