So although I was ecstatic when moving back to Verdigris to see that we now have a sonic, my visit last night burst my proverbial bubble. I honestly do not think I have ever had a worse experience while visited a fast food joint in the past. So we get to the drivethrough, and begin ordering for four people. I slowly but clearly begin laying out what I want, and how I want it. Nothing crazy, but still letting them know that I wanted a few changes. I don’t know if the girl taking the order was new or something, but jesus christ it was a painful experience. We get to the window, and they run my card. They start handing us our drinks, and they give us two too many. Come to find out, the girl took our order wrong, and charged us for two too many combos, hence the extra drinks. The manager comes to the window, and asks what changes he wanted us to have him make. I let him know what we had ordered, and what we were actually being charged for. While he is working on fixing the amount I was to be charged, we start getting the food. Turns out, they messed up every item on the order except one. Chicken club sandwich instead of chicken strip sandwich. Bacon egg and cheese croissant instead of sausage egg and cheese. I don’t even know what the sandwich was that I got, but it definitely wasn’t what I ordered In the end, we finally let the manager know that almost every item was incorrect. The manager finally pokes his head through the window and says that he will refund the entire order, and then recharge me for like $ 16 worth of food or something. Since we were closing in on an hour sitting at that drive through window, I just agreed so we could get the hell outta there. Needless to say, I do not see any visits to this sonic in my future.
