The W spa is such a gem. Though it is conveniently located on roll road in Clarence(close to Williamsville and East Amherst) once you walk through the door you feel like you have been transported to a hip oasis in the middle of suburbia. I had an appointment for an eyebrow waxing and my experience was so much more than I had hoped it would be. Andrea is a true artist! She not only gave me the best shape I’ve had in my life she also coached me on how to properly grow in my brows and apply makeup to make them look fuller until they grow in. Andrea was so knowledgable and sweet. I felt really comfortable with her. The spa was pristine: clean and decorated nicely. An unexpected bonus were the accessories and products for sale in the waiting/lounge area. Cute scarves, necklaces, and bags to browse as you wait for your appointment. I bought the brow pomade and powder that Andrea used simply because she made them look so good. Pricing is a little higher than you might expect to pay for a brow waxing but trust me when I say it’s totally worth it! I live in the LA area now but will be trusting the w spa with my brows when I come back in town for my wedding in June :)

I made an appointment to have my eyebrows done because I received a coupon from them for $ 2.00 off because I hadn’t been there for a while. The service was good. However, when I went to pay I was told I would be charged $ 2.00 extra because I hadn’t been there for a while. So I get a coupon for $ 2.00 because I hadn’t been there for a while but then they charge me $ 2.00 extra because I haven’t been there for a while. The girl that did my eyebrows took about 10 minutes to clean up my brows. The service cost $ 20.00 plus tip. Summary: Regular cost for eyebrow clean up =$ 20.00 plus $ 2.00 tip + $ 2.00 penalty for not coming in sooner minus $ 2.00 discount = $ 22.00. Time to find a new place.

This review is for Lisa the massage therapist. I have gone to many places but she is def one of the top masseuses I have ever been to. I got a deep tissue massage and she was very thorough and also very meticulous in getting my injury muscles relaxed. I was very tight due to much recent traveling. She was worth every penny! So thankful for a talented masseuse! Thank you!(:

Andrea takes care of my brows and Skyler gave me the best facial I have ever had. Service is phenomenal, atmosphere is spot on, professional and clean. I was recently introduced to their product line ‘ilike’ and was properly educated on it. I am loving my take home products as well. After my first visit I knew that I would be a lifelong client.

I have been a loyal customer at the Waxing Studio for the past 6 years. Their services have always been fantastic and consistent. I get so many compliments on my eyebrow shape wherever I go! Now I attend college in Illinois and currently pay $ 22+ for a mediocre job. The staff is not nearly as friendly nor professional. I have struggled to find any waxing studio that matches the quality and customer service that I have experienced at the Waxing Studio through the years!

I have been going to Tina for years, and she is the best in town. Not only is she friendly and warm, she is meticulous and always make sure I leave looking my best. Yes, this place is pricey but it is worth it.

Lori was really great for my Brazilian. Not only does she do a great job but makes you feel 100% comfortable. FYI it’s cash tips only.

The best place in WNY for a massage and facial! The staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. The services are phenomenal and they use organic skincare. Can’t say enough good things, I will definitely be back!

I won a gift card in a basket raffle this spring and finally had a chance to use it on Saturday. I tried to make an appointment online earlier in the week, but because I had never been there before I ended up having to call in and make an appointment. Fine, not really a big deal. I made a 9:00 am new brow appointment with Schylar. I arrived a few minutes early, but was seen almost immediately. The reception area was very comfortable and clean. I don’t regularly wax my eyebrows, but I have a few times after a hair or nail appointment. It was definitely the most spa-like atmosphere, very relaxing. Schylar was very nice and personable. She let me add on a service and did it all in less than the 30 minutes a new brow is supposed to take. I don’t have particularly sensitive skin so I didn’t expect any problems, but my skin was perfectly fine afterwards. No irritation, minimal redness. I kind of liked the smell of the wax, reminded me of honey? Anyway, I really liked it here. I suppose the price was a little steep, but in my opinion you get what you pay for.(New brow wax $ 22, Touch up $ 17) Also good to note they take credit cards, but you can’t pay gratuity with a card. I don’t know that I’ll ever be a regular wax consumer, but if I wanted something done I’d come back.

This is the best place in Buffalo for waxing. I have been going to Tina for years and have always loved the job she’s done. While the prices aren’t cheap, you do get what you pay for. I highly recommend The Waxing Studio for any services that you need. A wonderful experience from the convenience of online booking to the courtesy of the staff.

Had my brows waxed by Christina today. She did a great job and even filled in the ends(my brows are blond on the ends) with brow powder, which I’ve never attempted to do in the past. I was afraid if I filled in my brows I’d look like Uncle Leo when he drew on his brows after they were singed off and he was smooth as a seal… Remember that Seinfeld episode?! Then his doctor thought he was angry? HAHAHA! Anyway, I digress… My filled in brows didn’t look angry like Leo’s. They looked beautiful. Christina’s mad waxing skillz opened up my whole face and made me look even more gorgeous than normal(we’re supposed to love ourselves, right??). I wanted to put on a full face of make up after and go out on the town, I was so impressed with her skill and my fab brows. Alas, I settled for going to Wegman’s after for a sub… LAME. Again, I digress… This shop is really nice and clean inside, spotless actually. And really nicely designed/decorated. Has a great spa feel, is calming, and The Barefoot Contessa was doting on Jeffery on the TV… Hello… LOVE!!! So glad Keri S. suggested I get my eye fringe readjusted here. It was a great visit and I hope to return! Minus one star for the creaky table/chair. I feared it would collapse under my robustness, but it didn’t and it helped Christina move me around to perfect my eye fringe. Still made my limbs tingle with nervousness though… Ha! Great place overall though. And I love that it’s in East Amherst/Clarence.

I have been a loyal fan of The Waxing Studio for years. Tonight was the worst customer service I have ever had. I will never set foot in there again. I bought a gift certificate for my daughter for a facial and one for a waxing me. My daughter went to use the facial for a waxing and was told she could not(after she had the service). Fair enough, I would have preferred they told her prior to the service but I gave my daughter the waxing gift certificate. Tonight my daughter had the waxing service only to be told the gift cards had expired. They clearly had not expired. My daughter was so embarassed and called me. I explained to my daughter to tell them to look at the expiration date. I then spoke to the receptionist who basically told me I was lying and could not have bought the gift certificates in December. I went to The Waxing Studio to explain to the receptionist. I showed her the expiration date and she said again that it couldn’t be. I asked for the manager who was in with a client. The manager finished with her client and then went to do some computer work before deciding she had time to talk to me. Meanwhile I called my husband who located the receipt and printed it. I asked the receptionist for the fax number and she said she had to speak with the manager to get the fax number. The manager then came out to speak with me. She realized they had made a mistake and started explaining why the receptionist was justified in what she said. By then I was mad. The Waxing Studio had not one but three opportunities to figure out their mistake. Not only was this embarassing since I had given it as a present but they made my daughter wait until I got there. I was treated with no respect given that the manager didn’t even have time to come apeak with me until I was ready to have a receipt faxed over. never again.

I had a very bad experience here, on the verge of traumatic. Quite frankly, when it comes to HOT wax that potential is definitely there. I would never go back in my life. Also it is overpriced and the«lady» at the front desk has an attitude problem. It’s like okay clarence isn’t that fancy people stop acting like you are so special this isn’t nyc.

Just received a luxury facial from Julie at the Waxing Studio. She did a great job, and the products she used were amazing. The studio uses organic products, which not only are safe but they smell amazing. She even gave me a sample lotion to use! Overall it a nice place, with an great atmosphere, and the receptionist was very friendly. One downfall, I wish the owner could acknowledge the clients more.

I have been a customer since the Waxing Studio opened. I think their services(not just waxing, but facials & massages) are phenomenal. They are the only place of their like in the Buffalo area, and they are extremely knowledgeable, and educated. They are the best in the area without a doubt.

I found myself at the Waxing Studio thanks to a Living Social deal. Went in for an eyebrow wax and a relaxation massage. I was really happy with both services. The studio is really aesthetically appealing… the employees were very professional and knowledgeable… it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience overall. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is for their pricing. A bit steep…

Andrea is the queen of the Brazilian wax. I’ll be frank– I’m Italian. We aren’t a hairless people. She gets the job done in 15 minutes or less. That is some serious skill, y’all. My only complaint is that it’s SO damn expensive. And I wish it were closer to the city.

this place is totally really good and they know what their doing — only problem — they keep raising their prices — now for a returning eyebrow wax it’s $ 15 i think hmm…
