This place used to be known as 411 but people kept coming in and asking to borrow the telephone directory, so they changed it to 711. This didn’t used to be a 711, but recently it was converted, sort of like Cat Stevens and Cassius Clay. It has average 711 prices and a less-than-average selection, but in an area with almost no 24-hour gas stations and convenience stores, it’s very useful and, er, convenient. The gas prices here are usually a bit higher than at the cheaper places in the area, but the fact that you can literally roll down the hill with no gas all the way from my front door to the gas pumps here, means it’s never going to get less than a three from me. Speaking of 3, this also used to be called 311, but then they realized that they don’t make anyone feel like they are home again(except me).
