Canine Academy

Unless your dog is a «super star» in training classes, don’t bother going here. As a new dog owner, I was looking for a place that would give me hands on training (for example, demonstrating the command with my dog when she is unsuccessful, instead of just telling me what I did wrong and what I should be doing). A place with lots of positive reinforcement for both myself and my dog. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. After weeks of an unsuccessful, unfavorable experience, I am happy to be done with this place and will look for training classes that celebrate the little successes that a dog makes, that gives an abundance of guidance and support and who makes you feel like you can achieve success if given the right tools and direction. This place was also uninterested and unsympathetic in the feedback provided regarding these concerns. Dog Trainees beware…

This is a great place to take your dog for training. I have been to puppy obedience, canine good citizen, agility and rally training. Coleen, Barb and Alex are superb and come highly recommended from this writer.
