I recently got a color analysis from Lynda Tarantino, the owner of That’s Your Color. Lynda draped me with different colors and figured out the most flattering palette from a selection of 12 possible categories(it turns out I am a soft summer). At first I was hesitant to spend money on color analysis because I can usually tell if something looks terrible when I try it on in the fitting room. However, I got tired of all the trial and error involved in shopping and returning things that don’t quite work, and I realized that I was relying on one or two colors that I knew looked good. I wanted to stop wasting time and money on clothes that don’t make me look my best, or worse, make me look pale or tired. I had a great time with Lynda and I highly recommend getting a color analysis with her if you have trouble shopping like me. It was amazing to see how much better my skin and hair looked when she draped me with certain colors. I learned a lot about which colors and shades work for me and which ones I need to skip. She really knows her stuff! She gave me a color book so I can use it as a reference while shopping. She also did a makeup consultation and recommended a few colors I had never tried, and I loved them! To sum up, I really think that this color analysis will help me make better clothing and makeup choices, and will hopefully save me time and money in the long run. Lynda is very nice and she taught me a lot about color. I think it was money well spent!
