My grandma requested we take her here for an early dinner while we were visiting from Ohio. We were pleasantly surprised after reading so-so reviews. The restaurant is nicely decorated. Our server was friendly and attentive. All items ordered were enjoyed thoroughly: flat iron steak(tender, perfectly trimmed), Mac and cheese entrée(super rich), blackened chicken panini(huge), and bacon cheddar baked potato. The salads that came with the entrees were unique with chick peas, radishes, onions, and parm; loved the house garlic dressing. We’ll be back sometime to try some of their fish dishes that looked really good.

Food was good but service was horrible. All the waitresses would forget drinks or take way too long to bring the simplest of things. The oatmeal is very strange, however the multigrain breakfast is delicious. I probably wouldn’t go back especially if I just wanted a quick meal.

I was disappointed in our breakfast. When we arrived we were told it would be 15 min wait, place was not very busy at all. When we were seated it took awhile for the waitress to get our drink order. We wanted Bloody Mary’s with our breakfast, but they couldn’t serve us before noon. Here’s an idea, if several people ask for drinks on a Sunday morning, get the permit to sell, you’d make money on it! When our food came it was very plain, I ordered French toast and it was bland, I could’ve made better at home. My husband ordered an omelet and it was mostly cheese. I used to tell everyone how good the food was there, but after this breakfast not sure if I want to go back.

The slowest service ever. It’s like they wanted us to leave when we got there, 7:30PM. We didn’t get served and leave until 9PM! The food was great, the service sucked!

Finally made it here for dinner after two years of thinking about it. This place always threw me off, mostly because of it’s name and location — it’s in the middle of nowhere. But I’m so glad I tried it(and have been back a couple times now). The food is amazing — there’s a new chef in the past 6 months. The service has been good and the atmosphere inside is very inviting. The only downside for me is the well water they serve. I can’t drink it, and wish they had a purifier or just bottled. But I can get past that and get something else. Oh and for bourbon lovers, they have a huge selection and, from what I understand, host tastings fairly frequently.

I went to this place eight months ago while on a road trip. I LOVED the food and I thought the service was wonderful. I liked it so much, that all these months later, I’m thinking how much I wish this restaurant was closer! I had the ribs and they were amazing. Just so good! The restaurant was in an odd location — all by itself kind of in the middle of nowhere — but it was like an awesome, warm, friendly, delicious oasis on that road trip. I will make it a point to stop there again if I am ever in the area again!!! Highly recommended!

When you eat here, you know what kind of food you’ll get. It’s better than, say, Denny’s, but what is that saying, really? Service was fine, the place was clean, the local artists work was a nice touch. My make-your-own Greek omelette was pretty average in texture– tasteless tomatoes and not much spinach. My husband got the Biscuit Benedict, and again, pretty average. I agree with one reviewer who said their grandparents would like it. I think the average person that’s not picky would enjoy this place.

IGC is the place we go when we want something just a little different. The mini loaf of cinnamon raisin bread drenched in cream cheese frosting is a big hit. Décor features artwork by local artists. Ambiance is a bit nicer than your local bar and grill. Menu shows what is gluten free, vegetarian, etc.

Great food AND good company! Had a nice chat with the staff about various bourbons and learned some things along the way. Will definitely be making a return trip.

Awesome Mac and cheese according to the kids. I had a bite and wished I got that too. But my breakfast was good. The pancakes are great. Get the bourbon syrup if you are adventurous. They have a great bourbon selection. Joined the bourbon club! Also my son wants me to add the hot chocolate is amazing! Definitely worth the stop.

If you like comfort food you’ll love this place. Pot roast and decadent macaroni and cheese entrees keep me coming back. I can’t find these dishes this good anywhere else. The sandwiches, steaks, fish and the rest of the menu may be pedestrian but I don’t care. They have the comfort food down to an art form. Clean, comfortable and family friendly. The prices aren’t a bargain but aren’t very different from a cookie cutter, franchise, microwave meal, family restaurant.

Nice clean restaurant with carefully prepared food that tasted excellent. However… if you show up hungry you’ll either need to visit another restaurant or resign yourself to leaving hungry. I had the fish. It was ok there just wasn’t much of it! There were four of us and we all looked at the plate and quipped. «that’s it?» I jokingly termed it the«postage stamp fish.» Two little pieces that were mostly batter. When I remarked to the snippy little waitress(who I think was the owners daughter) that«I imagine that with a serving this small, most patrons probably don’t order it a second time», she curtly replied that most do. Then to add insult to injury, I asked for a different flavor of iced tea than I initially ordered, and was told that I would be charged for a new glass because I was changing flavors. I’m thinking at this time«Come on, don’t be so cheap!!!» All you’re doing is squirting flavors in a glass!“ Im summary, would I go back? Probably, but most definitely NOT for the fish!!! And next time I’ll drink water.

IGC is a newish family style restaurant off of 127. It’s in a really weird location that’s kind of near an industrial park, on a stretch of 127 without much commercial activity. The restaurant is nice, if you like ‘90s décor. I think the walls are all burgundy, hunter green and navy blue. It screams dated to me even though it was built in 2008 or something. Anyway, the restaurant serves breakfast and has a decent breakfast menu, but doesn’t have the most variety. Actually, I come here and look at the menu and think to myself, «I don’t really want any of this.» There are normal combinations that seem to be slightly off. Just slightly. Like there’s a main ingredient that seems weird. One bonus is that they have a full coffee bar so they can make you espresso, a latte or a cappuccino if you so desire. The lunch and dinner menu is standard family dining food. I don’t think the portions are that generous, especially for the price. I haven’t had anything that I’ve been crazy about, but I haven’t gotten sick either. ICG serves salads, soup, panini, steak, chicken, seafood, burgers and pasta. There’s just about something for everyone. The staff seems friendly enough and has been attentive. Overall, the experience is decent but not the best. I’d rather go somewhere else. The problem is that this place has a lot of different food, but masters none of it. If I were them I would focus on breakfast, and then maybe some homestyle dishes. The menu spreads the chefs too thinly and the taste and experience suffers. In the end, I guess you go here to be in good company. It’s a little out of the way, in the middle of the country. Everyone knows each other and things run a little bit slower. I think that’s a good thing.
