Abington Spa

Abington Spa is one of the best additions to Clarks Summit/​Green and the surrounding towns! Victoria, the owner & massage therapist, is very skilled, knowledgeable, and professional. The quiet and serene atmosphere of the spa provides for a very relaxed and enjoyable treatment. I’ve already had 2 spa massages, and highly recommend them. Friendly staff, and reasonably priced. Added bonus — open Sundays!

Less than 1 star, more like no stars. Beware! Spent $ 300 to have my hair colored as well as a Brazilian blowout done. Neither came out properly. My hair now has yellow stripes in it, after I was more than clear to the stylist that I hated yellow blonde, the blowout didn’t take, and when I complained I was given attitude by the owner, who was argumentative about fixing any of it, and then I was told that my texts back and forth with the stylist were threatening (which they were not, and I have every one of them saved), and now I hear they’re filing harassment charges because I complained. I never even called the salon! They called me 3 times! The customer service is HORRIBLE! They refuse to be accountable, and to just nicely fix the problem without a battle. I will never set foot in there again, and I suggest no one else does either! I was informed after the fact, by not only ex employees, but also quite a few other people, that they had the same issues with having color done in their hair at this facility, and sent me pictures to prove it. So funny how their pictures were so similar to mine. I have huge yellow skunk stripes on both sides of my head. And now I’m out $ 300 and have to pay someone else to fix it. Disgusting! Reported to BBB, as well as social media. If I can prevent even 1 more person from going through this, then I’ll be happy.

Clean facilities, friendly staff and excellent massage perfectly tuned to each persons issues. Great place, we will be back!!!
