Take care of your eyes at Northeastern Eye, then take care of your stomach at Mangia! Great Italian hoagie… I’m sure the rest of menu is too!

Sounds gourmet and a unique spot to stop for lunch. I walked in and the place was dead. I ordered a sandwich and it was fairly simple and basic. Nothing worth raving about or returning. Perhaps it is better as a catering option than an individual meal.

Absolutely awesome food! Love what they do with the seafood side of their menu. Crab cakes, shrimp, clams. The food is excellent! You can’t miss with anything on their menu.

Finally got a chance to try this place and I was impressed. We got chicken parm, grilled romaine salad and a crab cake sandwich. All were solid and the price was very good. This would be excellent catered food and the ingredients were all very high quality. The vibe in the interior is a little odd. Not really bad or anything, but it’s a unique blend of restaurant/take out place/and deli. Luckily the Hostess/Cashier/Waitress was nice and accommodating, but I think you get the idea from the slashes If they could deliver me food this good and consistent on a second trip at that price, they will get a fifth star.

Are there for the first time. Extremely nice woman(expecting I think) waited on me. Only ordered a tuna sandwich but tasted fantastic. Everything in the place looks brand new and fresh flowers on all the tables(nice touch). I’ll go again… Would love to try something hot next time. Want to give them a chance to get my 5th star.

I am a huge fan of this new restaurant in Clarks Summit. This is, by far, the most convenient lunch spot in the area. I have never had an order take longer than 15 minutes to be ready & I frequent this place! I have eaten most sandwich options from the menu and each time I am amazed at the quality. My favorite is the Chicken Caesar Sandwich; however, the Crab Cake Sandwich and Pork Cutlet are close seconds. The only thing I would change is for the restaurant to be opened on weekends.

I got a sandwich and soup to go and took it down the street for a picnic in the park = perfection! The sandwich roll was fresh, the meat was plentiful and the soup was mighty delicious. I would definitely eat here again.

Was staying in the area overnight & wanted a quick dinner– but really not a fan of fast food. I pre-ordered online & had my dinner waiting for me at the specified time. There were a lot of great choices– I chose the haddock & garden salad. Potato & vegetable are chef’s choice– I got glazed carrots & red skin(garlic?)mashed potatoes. Salad greens were spring mix– not iceberg. It was on par with any great meal I’ve had dining out. Wish I lived closer!

The first few weeks of a new eatery can be a challenge. Sometimes it seems to not be the best representation of the shop’s future. Sometimes people are still being trained and details ironed out. Mangia has fallen into the extreme minority by opening with polish and style. The über modern exterior instantly grabs the customer’s attention. And, the interior? The décor is absolutely gorgeous. Très élégant. This is very much geared toward adults … how refreshing. I would LOVE to know who the interior designer was for this project! There is an iPhone app for ordering. It’s is uncommonly convenient in that one can place an order at any time and select the precise moment when it should be ready for pick-up. For instance, one can place an order on one’s lunch-break for one’s dinner. LOVETHIS! This time, we ordered from the sandwich menu and the pasta menu. The penne alla vodka was flavorful and properly al dente(which is REALLY difficult to achieve with take-out food). Likewise, the half-loaf of bread had a delightfully crispy outside and fabulously airy inside. And, the herbaceous butter was a rare treat. This is yet one more beautiful addition to this amazing town! I look forward to many, many wonderful visits to Mangia.
