The pharmacy is wildly inept, I have to agree unfortunately. When you call for refills you give a phone number in case there is a question or a problem with the prescription however, IF in fact there is a question or problem no one EVER calls. You discover, when in a hurry and trying to rush in and out, lo and behold, they had a problem. The store itself is fantastic.

The pharmacy here is so wildly inept, I cannot fathom how they continue to have customers. About one month ago, I attempted to refill a prescription from my dermatologist. Instead of $ 35.00(as it was last time), this time it was over $ 100.00. When I inquired why it was more expensive, the cashier just said, «I don’t know» and kept processing the order. I asked her to stop the order and explain the sizable increase. Irritated, she said, «I have no idea.» Sensing an impasse, I told her that I would be taking the prescription elsewhere. She then proceeded to unleash a tirade about having put a sticker on the box and now what was she supposed to do? I have an idea: how about break-down the price and explain the discrepancy? That evening, I had it filled at Target … Tonight, my physician called-in a prescription that needed to be filled promptly. When I arrived, there was a great deal of muttering, walking around the shelves, talking to the pharmacist, more muttering, and then a slow walk back saying that they would have to order it. Given that this was a medical issue, I would have imagined they would have called my home(or my physician) and admitted that they did not have a STANDARD product in-stock. Soo, then I spent nearly fifteen minutes on the phone with Wal-Mart getting the prescription transferred. I was successful(thank goodness)! Sure, pop-in here if you need a soda, but NEVER if you need a prescription. Seriously, NEVER. I have changed my pharmacy permanently. Not only is there a complete disregard for the clientele, but the assistants to the pharmacist are either woefully uneducated or burned-out.
