The deli here is absolutely terrible. When you’re first in line, it takes 15 minutes to get a half pound of cheese, ham, and turkey. There is no urgency. The deli attendant has a beard but no hair net on his beard. The rest of the store is great but the fact that I have to wait 15 – 20 minutes when I’m first in line is not the greatest.

Great place. Open 24 hrs. Deli has Deitz and Watson which is the best. Fresh bakery. And they carry my Turkey Hill Orange Iced Tea. Never left without something I needed. A+

Great staff! I saw a girl named Katie working great in the produce section. Inexpensive stuff! I definitely recommend Weis markets. Weis is awesome!

Extremely poor produce, rude employees, and check the expiration dates. Customer service attendant threatened to call the police and refused to cash in my coinstar receipt, on the basis of my attitude. She was argumentative and disrespectful. Turns out she just needed her managers permission to give out the cash, but was dramatic enough to make it an ordeal. My advice is to keep driving to Wegman’s or better yet, support Everything Natural.

Continuing with the trend of «one must TRULY watch one’s purchases» here … After an incredibly long, exhausting day and night of Christmas shopping, we made our last stop Weis(simply because we forgot a few essentials in the hubbub of buying last-minute gift-cards and tasty treats at Wegmans). We filled our cart as quickly as possible and headed to the self check-out(it was early this morning, so there were no human cashiers available). Sure enough(as I have warn Unilocalers about repeatedly!!), several of our items scanned considerably higher than advertised.(The Snapple was piled in a huge display and had a $ 7.99 sign on it … it rang up for $ 11.99). When I asked a cashier for help, she seemed to recognize the problem and brought over an woman to whom she said, «What do we do in this situation?» The other woman then said to us that all the«problem» items were from LASTWEEK’S sale! I had this woman remove the items from my bill($ 11.99 for a case of Snapple … at Weis?!) I did not press the issue of deception … we were exhausted and just wanted to get home. Hey, I could understand if it were 12:07AM and they forgot to pull the signs from the last week … but we are literally talking about hours later. And, I could understand if there was a single person tending to the store, but there were plenty of associates stocking shelves and monitoring the self-serve registers. And how many others shoppers bought these without watching their bill? Disgraceful. As always, purchase at Weis with extraordinary caution.(See my last post for an incident where they forgot to pull the sales tags for days and days!) I always conduct the week’s grocery shopping at Wegman’s and leave Weis for the few spontaneous items I need(so that I can carefully observe the check-out process). Be brave. Point out each error … it is your money, do not be afraid to speak up to this either 1.) lazy or 2.) deceptive store. And, please, post your experiences here … more people need to tell this store to clean-up their business practices.
