Hmm. Not sure how this place has such good reviews. It is marginal at best. The lighting in this place bugged me right away. Terrible, harsh yellow lights give an unsettling feeling. The place is sectioned off by walls very oddly, creating a boxed in cramped feel. Old and dated. The food was boring. Pancakes, eggs, baked bacon. I hate baked bacon. Fry it up. The home fries for breakfast looked terrible and had an odd flavor. Hash Browns were OK and plain. I can see older people loving the blandness to not offend their taste buds.

Gnat in my water and my daughter was served spoiled roast beef. It’s increasingly dirty with each visit. Just a very disgusting experience last visit. They didn’t even apologize.

We stopped in to order take out breakfast. We got 2 orders of pancakes, 2 hash browns, biscuits, bacon, sausage all for $ 24. It was so good. It turned out to be enough for 4 people. Love this place and we only waited 10 minutes for our food.

I’ve eaten here for breakfast, lunch and dinner and never had a bad meal yet. The pancakes are the best I’ve ever had and the Margaret’s salad dressing is amazing! Large menu offering a wide variety of items at reasonable prices and the portions are huge.

I went with some people who reside locally. The FOP? Really? I was pleasantly surprised! They have an extensive menu that can meet everyone’s craving. I had the Cobb salad with grilled chicken and it was huge! I was pleased with my meal and too full for dessert. There were five of us in our party and the bill came to $ 53. What a bargain! It’s great to find a family place where you can have good food, nice waitress(Laura) and not break the bank! I will return when I am back in this area and will recommend it to my friends!

Love their hoggies and onion rings. Not a big fan of their breakfast though. Clean place good service, prices are not too bad.

Fast becoming my family’s first choice for breakfast and lunch. Nice interior and service plus good size menu. Haven’t had a bad meal or high price tag.

This is a comfy place to pop in and have breakfast, lunch or dinner. I have always had fast service in both the front area and the cozy room with the windows. The salad with the Reid’s dressing is very, very tasty and they are good getting special orders correct. Take out is also a good option here and items are packed up secure with a nice little napkin/utensil set.

this was my favorite place around for YEARS… Recent changes in the menu here and the Elks have ruined it for me. It was also great when it was 24hr, they got rid of that also. They also have hiked the prices constantly over the years. Everything that was great about this place is a huge negative now.

This was described to me as a truck stop diner but it definitely does not look like one inside or out. It was a Sunday afternoon when JB and I came with a friend from the area, all of our tummy’s were growling angrily and we each wanted something different so lucky were we that the F.O.P.‘s menu is vast and breakfast is served all day. I had a do-it-yourself egg white omlette and potato pancakes. The cakes weren’t homemade but they were tasty nonetheless. The list of add-ons for the omlettes is huge, I opted for pepperjack cheese, some kind of local pepper mixture(I forget what they were called but they came highly recommended by our friend and I was very pleased I listened, the peppers were mixed with a slightly spicy sauce and onions, they almost reminded me of a chunky salsa), avocado topped my omlette off but I could have done without them(at $ 1.50 extra I would expect more than 4 thin slices). As I already stated, the menu here has a lot of options sure to satisfy everyones cravings — everything from french toast and pancakes to soups, salads, sandwiches, pasta and dessert. If you’re in the area it’s worth a stop. Food is great, prices are reasonable, the waitstaff are wonderful and efficient, and portions will satisfy a large appetite.
