Just stopped by on our way north, and we’re hopeful after reading some of the reviews. Because of the dogs we ordered over the phone, were told it would be 15 min, waited 20 to be sure before picking it up, it still took another 10 mins for the order to be ready, and to top it off all of the food was lukewarm at best. The fries and sandwiches tasted fine, and I’m sure they would be borderline tasty if they were actually hot, but coupled with the lackluster service we will think twice before trying another location again.

Bread pudding is excellent! Sandwiches are extremely large and plenty for two people to share.

Thought I was in the twilight zone when discovering Primanti Brothers on a Lonley stretch of highway in West Virginia. It was late. Foggy. I called to confirm details and it was true. The most uncommon divine sandwich in the nation is served here. Wow! Been to the one in Pittsburg and loved it. Amazing! Delicious! Great décor, lots of tv action and good service. Cozy fire. So nice! Best bread ever. Please open a spot in Louisville!

Words can not describe how much I love this place. It is a tad loud during busy periods. The prices seem high… until you get your food. The portions are huge! I’ve never had bad service here.

Went there the other day and sat at the bar! I had an Angry Orchard and a Personal pizza which were delish! The bar service was horrible. It took forever to just take our order and while we were waiting for the check the bartenders were gossiping. Plus one of the bartenders had their young child sitting at a table by her self and they kept going over to her! Needless to say they did not deserve a tip! The food, atmosphere and prices are the only reason we will go back not the service!

Dad and Mom wanted me to experience Primanti Bros during a recent trip to Ohio. Place was festive, noisy and looked like it is well received in the tri-state area. Mom told me I had to have their pizza and Dad said I had to have a sandwich. We started with an app of fried pickles & I really enjoyed these. :-) I opted to go with my Dads suggestion of Pastrami but didn’t get the double meat like he does … GLAD I didn’t because my sandwich was HUGE ! Also, if your not keen on everything piled on your«sammich«ask for your fries on the side … I knew Mom would order her own pizza she couldn’t finish & that would give me the chance to try two things on their menu. Both my sandwich & the 2 slices of pizza I tried we’re really good. Food was fresh, flavorful & filling. I really enjoyed this place but as someone with hearing difficulties be aware the acoustics in here are hard on the ears. Glad to try a local Pittsburgh chain ;-)

Yawn. Just like all the others. Becoming franchise crap. Unhealthy, inconsistent food quality and service. As a Pittsburgh native it’s almost insulting this food represents the best of Pittsburgh to some. It’s not even close. Find someplace local. There are many other better options.

We were traveling to D. C from Charleston WV and stopped there to eat. It was amazing! I got pizza and it was GREAT! The service was wonderful, the food was awesome, and they play some cool music made in that area! Over all 5 stars!!!

You won’t leave hungry. I have found it difficult to get healthy options. The salads come loaded with fries. This is a restaurant that serves top notch bar style food at a good price.

HORRIBLEEXPERIENCE! I would give it zero stars if I could. The food was cold, the service was bad, and they messed up my ALLERGIC daughter’s food. She is allergic to dairy and they served her grilled chicken sandwich with melted cheese. Once they attempted to correct the error, they«forgot about it»! It took another 30 minutes to get the sandwich, but they took the charge off the bill.

I like this restaurant pretty well. The food is decent and affordable. The portions are huge. I’ve been here several times and have always been pleased. This time I got the Mountaineer Burger. It was good, but I swear I had it before and the burger was much better. Love the fresh cut fries. Love the atmosphere. The portions are so huge, skip the appetizer.

Food is okay. Service is below average. Never offered a water refill. Spent the majority of my time waiting for my bill and just as long waiting for them to pick it back up and complete the transaction.

We arrived on a busy Sunday afternoon. After a short wait, we were greeted very promptly by an upbeat server. We found the service to be great, and the food to be even better. Sunday is 51 cent hot wings day. Their hot wings are some of the very best around. We also had the fried zucchini appetizer. It was very good as well. Both of us had the buffalo chicken salad and enjoyed it too. I’ve also had the burgers before and loved them. All in all, one of the best places to eat in town.

Top notch. That’s my summary of the food, the experience, and the value you get from PB’s. If they can keep this level of quality and service up they will reverse the curse of that location. Nobody ever makes it at that location in the long run… I think that they will. Don’t change what you are doing!

Worst service I’ve experienced at a restaurant, ever. I really wanted to like this place, and I’ve given it 4 chances, but I think I’m done. The first two visits the service was okay, but the food was disappointing. Their sandwiches are giant, but that’s almost completely bread and coleslaw with very little meat. Their other sandwiches, like burgers and such, are good, but way too big and very difficult to eat. Their wings and pizza are pretty good, and their prices aren’t bad, especially during happy hours. My third visit was a mess. The place was dead, but for some reason we had two servers serving us, and even with two the service was extremely slow. It took a very long time to get our food(which was cold), and took over 30 minutes to get out of there after being given our bill. The last visit was the straw that broke the camel’s back. Once again, the place was dead, but it took us almost 5 minutes just to be seated, despite there being lots of staff in sight just standing around. After getting seating and served drinks, our waitress never returned. I saw her standing around talking to her coworkers a few times, but after 25 minutes we had enough and left. The manager ran outside after us and apologized, saying this kind of thing never happens. I explained that it wasn’t the first time it happened to us there, and he vowed to correct the issue. I hope that they can fix these problems or else I don’t see them being around much longer.

Food was good but service at the bar was the worst I ever experience in 40 years, it was like the bartenders didn’t want me here. Never will go back they accomplish there mission.

Food was good but took 40 min. to get our food from the time we ordered. We were there for lunch on Weds. and it was not very crowded. Typical sports bar atmosphere. My husband liked his turkey & provolone, the kids menu was decent, my Mountaineer cheeseburger was ok. The cheese was hanging half off of it. Had to rearrange it & the tomato & lettuce.

Great restaurant and glad to see it open here. Primantis started in Pittsburgh and is slowly expanding. Apparently this location is only weeks old. First, it’s a little tricky to get into the lot. The building itself is still very new looking, though I believe it’s a renovated space. Inside its very clean and also very busy, even on a Monday night. Got seated pretty quickly though I was by myself. My waiter was very nice and checked on me at good intervals, never while my mouth was full lol. Got the smallstreet fries and an angus primanti sandwich. Both delicious and great portions. The primanti should be why you go here-its their signature dish. Whatever meat you want on coleslaw, fries, tomatoes, in an Italian wheat sandwich. They also have wings, pizza, and other good looking dishes. Drinkwise they had around 20 types of beer, with half on tap. Decent seasonals too. Go here, you won’t be disappointed.

The Primanti Brothers come to Clarksburg and knock it out of the park! We visited for the first time today(10⁄31) and were not let down in fact they exceeded our already high expectations from eating at the Morgantown location when we walked in the door to a very crowded and busy place. The food was as always fantastic and the staff is eager to serve you. They can count on me becoming a regular there.
