Tuscan Sun Spa

Throughout the years, I’ve only had facials there, but they have all been very good. I travel and have had spas elsewhere and they are as good or better. Comfortable surroundings and tasteful décor. If there is anything to criticize it would be the front desk staff that check you in and out. They seem very preoccupied with the next thing they have to do and aren’t always very friendly or attentive. If you get past that, the rest is good.

Overall, I’ve had good experiences at Tuscan. I utilize this place for waxes (bikini or Brazilian).
The aestheticians that I’ve used have been really good. Both Michelle and Marissa are thorough, professional, and friendly. Considering how awkward the experience is, they both do a good job of making it as quick and painless (HAHAHA) as possible.
Haven’t taken advantage of any other services so I can’t attest to the quality of anything else except the waxes. I’m satisfied with those (obviously).
I’ll continue to use Tuscan when I get in for my quarterly visit to WV.

It was such a wonderful ambiance that I actually forgot I was in WV!
The facility is HUGE and they offer every service under the (Tuscan) sun you could want. I have been to another location of theirs before (it has since closed) and so this time I tried a new service. We did body scrubs and they were really good. They included a light massage and the scrub was good quality. They were also able to accommodate 3 scrubs in the same time slot, so my family and I would all be finished at the same time. Yay!
I wish I had the whole day to just hang out and relax! The next time I go I would like to try some other services and browse the shop area. It’s a nice spa and if I had one closer to my house it would be my number one go-​to spa!

Facial/​hair/​make up for party. For some crazy reason, this place did my style before my facial. My hair didn’t look very good after the facial, but the facial was awesome. I had been ill with a cold and asked to have some help with the dry skin around my nose. Completely resolved!!! My skin felt very soft and smooth after.
Stylist was a good conversationalist and understood that my naturally wavy hair probably wouldn’t stay very straight in the humidity. I followed the suggestion for an updo that kept my wave. Was nice, but rapidly became frizzy, especially after the facial.
Make up was fine. Glad there was a more experienced staffer nearby who helped the younger team member recognize and make adjustments to cover the dark circles around my tired eyes. After some input, things did look better.
Overall, I enjoyed the experience and felt better about my look after. Sure wish they had done my facial first! Would love to see them take a healthy step and get rid of the tanning part of the business.

Went here in a desperate state and short hair, so I had very little hope that anything could be done to help me. But the hairdresser fixed the problem and gave me a fun haircut that was a great variation on the traditional bob, lots of character and fun! The salon was clean and looked professional. I was a little worried it would be a traditional tanning salon (i.e. cheap, lots of orange people), but it wasn’t. Great place to get your haircut!
