The only things that I liked about this place was the view of the lake and the dessert. It’s overlooking the dock area of Nolin River Lake. There is a patio area, but we sat inside. The Inn is attached, hence the name of the grill. They could use a good cleaning or a remodel, dust on the fan just isn’t what I like to see where I’m eating. I was desperate, so I ordered. The menu consisted of pizza and sandwiches. I went with the fish sandwich. It seemed like the frozen grocery store brought kind… it fell apart when I ate it. The real kicker were the fries. I’d asked for cheese to be added and it was… but not only were the fries soggy and terrible, the cheese barely covered the tiny portion of fries. The portion wasn’t really an issue, because I only ate a few anyways… now that’s bad when I waste fries. That called for dessert and because you can’t eff up cheesecake, I was satisfied with the peanut butter chocolate cheesecake, so that and the view bumped it up to a two… otherwise, this place needs help. The conversations amongst the staff and who I assume was the owner, weren’t very professional either. Chatting about the hiring process, etc… too much. STFU… I just want to eat in peace. The place is quite small, so there was no way to avoid hearing it. The service was ok, as we were the only ones there. The waitress did this weird stare after we got the check and were waiting for her to pick up the money, after a few minutes, we figured out on our own that you have to pay at the register area… just say so, minus the weird stare as you stand at the register.
