This isn’t even an urgent care anymore. Don’t waste your time going or calling is that’s what you’re looking for.

Been here since 8:15 am. Now 9:35 am. Just saw the PA. Not going to accept the breathing treatment they are offering since I have one at home. The PA was reluctant to rx me an antibiotic for what is obviously a sinus/respiratory infection. I have insisted she do so. She has agreed but also wants to give me a shot of steroid. Will never come back here due to long wait times and what I feel is disregard for what I have. Expect long waits at this facility.

I took my 8 month old son here for wheezing. We are from out of town & looked this place up. We were seen quickly & the doctor, Dr. Vaziri, was wonderful. He was given a nebulizer treatment & sent home with a prescription for a steroid & an antibiotic in case he needed it so we wouldn’t have to come back. We were out of there in less than an hour.

Don’t go there. Unprofessional and rude. It took 1.5 hours to see a doctor. After seeing the doctor I waited 45 minutes to be discharged only after I found someone. They discharged me without any instructions or even informing me what my prescription was– I found out at the pharmacy. The woman at check out had a terrible attitude as well. Go anywhere else

BF and I went here to get the injuries sustained from the Friday night Fox Theatre hullaballoo documented(in the event he is charged for the stupidest incident ever by Wayne county). Anyway, this is a very nice facility located in a very nice area. It’s part of the Clarkston Medical Group and resides within the medical ‘campus’ of the McLaren Heath Village where there is also a surgery center, pharmacy and tons of other specialties super conveniently located in one building. There is also a cancer center across the way with a beautifully landscaped memorial garden next door to it with a labyrinth and fountains. It was so nice there was even a wedding party taking pictures there. Walked around a bit there instead of sitting inside the waiting room the whole time. We arrived at 3:30pm on Saturday and were one of 3 parties in the waiting room. From the time the BF registered as a new patient, got triaged, seen by some doctors, had xrays done and read, checked out AND had his prescriptions filled(crazy fast), we were out the door a couple of minutes before 5PM. WAY better than going to an emergency room or waiting a week or two for an appointment at a regular doctor’s office. Also, saw a number of parents roll through with their kids. For those not familiar with urgent care centers, they specialize in treatment of illness and injuries that require immediate attention, including but not limited to: ear infections, sore throats, colds, sprains, pneumonia, sinusitis, bronchitis, dehydration, lacerations and fractures. Clarkston Urgent Care is open 24⁄7 including weekends and holidays, no appointments are necessary. I did not get to experience the medical exam part, but the registration process was pretty painless and the front desk staff was pretty nice. They hand you one of those restaurant buzzing gadgets like they do at, say, Applebee’s, to let you know when your table is ready when you get your registration forms. After you hand inyour paperwork they buzz the thingie and you go to one of the check-in booths where they settle your info and insurance(kind of like at a hospital). Then they buzz it again right before someone comes out of one of the three doors to the left to triage you and do what they need to do after that. The BF is one of those lucky people with insurance(county BC/BS accepted), but I did ask the front desk what a typical non-insured/self-pay patient like me would pay. Not including fees for possible labs and x-rays, etc. the visit is $ 80 as of this writing. Not too bad. The Sav-Mor pharmacy next door was open while we were there(although not completely sure if they are a 24⁄7 deal as well) and they sell coffee, soft drinks and all kinds of snacks, greeting cards, etc. The pharmacist there was super nice(sorta balding w/glasses). The nicest one I have ever encountered. He even came from the back of the counter to clarify a few things with the BF and his medication. The property and inside of the building was clean and well-maintained. The waiting room is nicely laid out. Enough room for everyone without being on top of each other. There is only one bathroom in the waiting area, though there may be more out in the main lobby. Not sure though. The only flaw was the super stained light beige carpet in the waiting room. Poor pick for a waiting room with lots of expected traffic in a state that snows.
