I had the good fortune of seeing Parsonage’s work first hand when I visited our venue for the first time. Parsonage had already set the flowers up in the wedding tent of the venue, and right then I knew I wanted to go with them as well.
Their style is both elegant and whimsical. And although their prices aren’t cheap — the money is well worth it not only because of their gorgeous work, but also for their quality of service.
I had the pleasure of working with Sara Kline, who from start to finish was a total professional and very knowledgeable. She was friendly, easy to work with, and passionate. She was also a great listener, making sure she understood exactly what I wanted, and was always available to go over details with me. A bonus was that she was willing (and knowledgeable enough about various types of flowers) to successfully work within my budget.
I knew Parsonage would do a great job, but on the day of my wedding I was simply blown away. The arrangements had far exceeded my expectations. The venue looked simply stunning.
There are so many things that can go wrong on the day of your wedding, and as a bride I’d prepared myself to be OK with that. In this case it was the exact opposite — I got above and beyond what I expected, and I couldn’t have been happier with Parsonage’s work. I’m so glad I chose them.

My daughter found The Parsonage online. I was not happy that she chose a place I had not heard about that was a far drive out to Clarkston. (The wedding was at Colony Club in downtown Detroit.)
What a pleasant surprise when we found the cute little building. Liz and Emily were wonderful. They were excited about making the wedding vintage and perfect. I loved their gold mercury vintage-​look vases and votive candle holders. Each flower was special and beautiful. A week later — they are still looking great!
Their prices were so reasonable that I thought maybe things would be skimpy. NOT SO! It was the most beautiful wedding ever! Our friends asked about the fabulous florist! Easy to work with and so happy we found them!

I am so glad I found Parsonage for my wedding — used them for flowers and linens. After meeting with a few other florists and receiving quotes from a few, Parsonage fit best with my budget and style. I met with Sara Kline (one in person consultation and the rest via phone, as I live out of state), who went over all the various services Parsonage offered and showed me a ton of pictures from her portfolio. From the beginning, she was always willing to listen to what I wanted, what our budget was (this was a deal breaker with some of the other florists, who would quote things out of our budget or change the flowers so drastically that it wasn’t even close to what I wanted), flexible when I decided to change things, and had lots of great suggestions to make things work best.
Our flowers turned out great — I was so worried that our arrangements would look too small (I wasn’t into the whole tall centerpiece thing), but they were perfect. We got so many compliments on the simplicity but yet modern style we chose for our flowers. Sara also suggested tying our gold theme into the flowers by using gold glitter in the water. We ended up getting a mix of white hydrangeas, blush peonies, blush ranunculus, and assorted pink stock.
Parsonage also provided all the candles and vases — we were doing a gold theme, so I really wanted gold Mercury glass, which they had no shortage of! We booked our linens too, since we got a 10% discount for doing it all together. We had no issues with the delivery out to Ann Arbor and pickup was just the same. Would definitely recommend to any bride in the metro Detroit area!

I used parsonage for my wedding flowers and also invitations. I couldn’t have been more pleased! Liz made my dream wedding come alive. I recommend then 100% percent.

Expensive, but very fresh, original arrangements. Can count on consistent quality and service.

Where I go when I want a beautiful, unique arrangement. Known for their beautiful designs. Not too artsy or trendy, more lush and sensual. Reliably fresh and long lasting flowers.
