Today is Tuesday before Thanksgiving and the Royal Oak farmers market is open. I went to pick up my Turkey. I’m not a shopper and besides this is right in the middle of my work day, I have things to do. So my intention is to get in, get out and get back to work. However, as i was walking past the popcorn stand I must have glanced at my weakness — sugar. The guy behind the table caught me and handed me a tiny cup of caramel corn and said«it’s made in Oxford by a Gourmet chef». I stood in line for my turkey trying not to snarf this amazingly delicious carmel corn. Turkey in hand I now had to stop on my way out and buy a whole bag of Will Cole Butter Pecan Carmel Corn.($ 7 for an 8oz bag) That’s about double the cost of a potatoe chip but oh so much better and so much more Michigan. This carmel corn is the real deal. Buttery, carmelly and crunchy at the same time. I’m going to be checking out what else they have to offer real soon
