Brow Spa

The ladies here are incredibly nice, and my eyebrows were shaped beautifully. However, when I examined them more closely in a mirror, I could see that they had missed a few stray hairs. It would have been nice if they had gone over them or just grabbed them with a pair of tweezers, since they charge as much as a wax at a salon.
Just an fyi for those that have never had threading done before: It doesn’t really hurt as much as waxing, but it takes a bit longer. I have sensitive skin, so my eyes watered A LOT. This wasn’t because it was that painful; it’s just an odd sensation to have my eyebrows threaded.

i’ve never had my eyebrows threaded before, but i think it will be my go-​to beauty treatment from now on! slightly painful, yes, but worthwhile… the whole thing is done in less than 5 minutes and your eyebrows are BEAUTIFUL! the ladies here are friendly, helpful and competent. they also do facials, which i can state are lovely and offer henna fri-sun…i can’t wait to try it.
the only downside is that there is nothing shielding you from the ppl walking by outside in the mall, so everyone can watch you get your beauty treatments done. somewhat awkward, especially the facial part, since you have to sit for 10 – 15 minutes for some parts with a mask on… not bad when you’re in your own home, but strange when ppl can stare at you like a fish in a tank.

I have been a fan of eyebrow «threading» for years. This is a quick and very effective method of hair removal, here at this new location in the mall I got my eyebrows perfectly shaped in less than 5 minutes using absolutely NO WAX! The little spa-​like setting is only two salon type chairs but with a lovely green color on the walls that simply relaxed my senses. They also do other facial hair like if you have a little mustaschio you want to get rid of… (don’t worry I won’t tell). The ladies here are very polite and soft spoken. They won’t try to sell you any services you don’t ask for, which I love b/​c I hate it when I go to the nail salon and they try to tell me my eyebrows look like crap so I might as well get them waxed!
I knew a Kurd from Iraq who was thrown in a refugee camp during Hussein’s reign, he wasn’t allowed to use razors so he shaped his beard by using thread, after a few years of doing it he had a perfect beard line where the hair stopped coming in. It looked really good, but anyways I can’t wait until my eyebrows are perfectly shaped and stop growing back out!
