Horrible customer service, they are expensive and now the service is getting worse… my Internet is slow and constantly going in and out for the last month. ATT can’t get to my area soon enough, CDE sucks… avoid at all costs if possible!

CDE Lightband offers a complete package of tv, Internet, and phone. The tv, DVR is horrible. You never know if your shows will record. Play back function is horrible… when you fast forward through commercials, it jumps past the episode resulting in having to sit through the commercials. Internet is ok but not high speed as you pay for. The worst part is that you do not get quality customer support. After hours, your done until Monday morning unless it’s a Holiday, then forget it. I’m dropping them and going back to Charter… internet only.

Trying to get Service for over a week, I never deal With a company that everytime You call They resquest New things! Ask me for everything at ones and get things done! Customer service is crazy, over the phone they take almost 30 min to pick up every time you call !!! Bad bad bad !!!

This place is a joke. 7 stations but only 3 manned during lunch — the peak customer service time. This generally happens when the management is unqualified to be management. Pretty typical in this area. Comparable to a DMV — Get ready to wait.

I have had their Internet since they first got it several. Years ago. We had one outage in probably 4 years. We moved away for 15 months. We have been back for a year and have had 4 major outages since. Stuff happens, but their customer service sucks. They don’t put out a message on their website or a voice-mail. They make u wait on hold for 30 minutes to tell u there is an outage and they’ll fix it as soon as they can. I work from home an die is unacceptable to tell my boss I can’t work because they are unreliable. I am looking for other options for Internet because they are useless.

These folks have a very difficult time providing stable Internet services. My guess is that the IT staff is woefully inadequate for what they’re trying to accomplish. They have very real DNS problems and aren’t qualified to realize it.

CDE is one of the worst companies to deal with. Ive had an account with them for 5 years. Ive been late one time in July 2013 due to my bank account being closed because of it being compromised. I paid a late fee but then got a letter from my bank stating that. So fast forward to now June 2014, I made a payment no problem. I get a letter from them a few days later stating my payment has been returned due to wrong account number. Ok, no worries that can be fixed. I call them and remind them of the letter that I gave them in regards to the last returned payment, well they don’t have the letter anymore. Go figure. I walk in there and trust it will be put into my file but to no avail. I read further in the letter that I’m now required to pay my bill in cash for 13 months. Ok so I can understand a hefty late payment/penalty but cash for 13 months. Thats just plain ridiculous. You try and call and reason with them but i get an attitude of «rules are rules». I wish Clarksville had a different electric company because as long as this one is around, you will get screwed. Everytime.

Every time I deal with CDE’ s customer service I quietly think to myself: «Can their customer service SUCK any more?» Every time, without fail, they prove to me that: «YES! It can! The only time I ever get anything done with them is if I threaten to report them to the Better Business Bureau, and even then it’s like pulling teeth! If you’re one of those people who doesn’t have enough on your plate already, who has perfect blood pressure and just an overall life that is too darn perfect and happy… Please, I encourage you to use CDE Lightband as your service provider. You should have plenty of patience to deal with them. As for the rest of you, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Cheers!

After moving here from a relevant area my only options were CDE and Charter. I chose CDE only for the convenience of having my electric bill and cable bill bundled. What a mistake. I had Verizon Fios back home so maybe my expectations were too high, but the HD cable feed was terrible and the channel selection was absolutely not worth the price. I opted for the higher internet speed and after several speed tests, I was getting no where near what I was paying for. I cancelled the cable shortly after installation. Make sure you keep all your equipment records. I’m glad I did because they tried to fuck me every bill. If you call customer service be sure to wait at least 15 minutes. If you are checking the status of an outage, forget about it, just wait it out. The ladies that work here are also fucking clueless. My only pleasant experience was when I got my services installed.

We’ve never had a problem with service being out in our area but there are issues constantly on other sides of town. We only have electric service. Talking to customer service in person is quick and easy. Calling on the phone with issues is a bit different but still not too much of a hassle. We always pay our bills on time so there’s not much for us to have to call about.

CDE is the WORST company in clarksville. I moved 2 months ago, and still can’t get my deposit refunded! EPICFAIL! I have been told by customer service several times that ANDREAKNOPF or JIMMANNING would get back to me. NOONEHAS. I’ve patiently waited for 2 months for a refund. There were always a billing issues. Customer service is by far the WORST! Unfortunately they are the only power source in Clarksville. So you are stuck with them. Good luck… try not to pull too many hairs out of your head dealing with them.

We have finally had enough of Lightband after a couple years and switching to AT&T. CDE’s customer service is non-existent. Virtually impossible to speak to a live body and when I do, they say they will have to call back … and in the past two months never have. We tried, we really did. I so much wanted to give my money to a local business but if customers are only a bill to be paid and not someone to call, I’ll go to a corporation. At least then I know to expect little to nothing. Oh btw, the pixelization? When I went to the main office yesterday I was actually told that there is no permanent fix anytime soon. She also said that«the call volume has been extrememly heavy for over a year a now» but they hope to fix that«maybe in the next year» :-)

After moving from Clarksville to Pleasant View and having to switch from CDE to Charter again, we are definitely wishing we had CDE Lightband back, but they don’t provide service to this area. Charter has the worst service ever, and we are still getting the pixelation we had with CDE. The internet connectivity with CDE was MUCH, MUCH, MUCH better than it is with Charter. CDE, please hurry and get service to Pleasant View, TN.
