Went there tonight for about 6:30, was an hour wait, which really isn’t terrible for a holiday. They were EXTREMELY busy but despite the crowd and continuous rush, our server Lacey was amazing! Extremely friendly, never waited for anything! And the staff all worked together amazingly to make sure everything came out perfect! The teamwork was great, and even the manager was asking around if everyone’s meals were ok. GREAT customer service, great hospitality!

Cook doesnt listen to guests request for doneness of steaks. One of our party waited 25 minutes for dinner after every one else had theirs and were almost finished. The food was mediocre overall. Dinner for 5 no drinks was $ 125. Bad food and bad attitudes all the way around. Never again.

***In many ways, this LongHorn feels like all the other moderately priced chain steakhouses out there, but their perfectly seasoned filet mignon with an edge to edge red center and a topping of bordelaise and thickly cut shiitakes might be the best steak I have ever had at a chain steakhouse in this price range*** I have not been to many family chain or moderately priced chain restaurants lately, but I definitely do not prescribe to the notion that they are all the same. The menus are often very similar from location to location and prices are fairly similar too. The menu items too have been work-shopped enough where the food is going to be safe and mainstream though you are probably not likely to get something truly awful – at least in terms of what is presented though what the food is actually made of is a different story. Management plays such a critical part of how successful a chain restaurant is – not only in the service, but the standards of the kitchen, which can result in food you know has been sitting around for long or food that was made with little care. And sometimes, you will experience food that surprises and rises above what most customers would expect a typical chain restaurant to deliver. Several of the items at this LongHorn Steakhouse did feel like chain food. The salad was a boring mix of lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, and croutons(the croutons though were crunchy and fresh and provided a great and needed texture contrast to the salad). Unfortunately, the salad was topped with a heavy dollop of honey mustard dressing so no amount of scraping the dressing to the side could fix the salad from being overly dressed. The roasted garlic potato au gratin did not have a great cheese center. This was definitely a case where the lack of quality ingredients was the culprit here. The cheese top was okay – nicely toasted and stretchy. The potatoes were slightly on the raw side, which resulted in an unpleasant texture. Usually, chain restaurants are more likely to overcook potatoes than undercook potatoes(to be on the safe side) so it is hard for me to guess what happened here. Maybe the kitchen was taking more chances in the preparation to try and deliver a truly delicious layering of perfectly cooked and not soggy potatoes in the center or maybe they were just sloppy here and were not paying attention to the cooking times. The centerpiece of my entrée was excellent though. It was a filet mignon and it was off their seasonal special menu. Everything about it was exceptional. The kitchen achieved a great sear on the meat delivering both a distinct crust as well as a good flavor. The center was a perfect medium rare. You get that inviting dark brown sear on the outside and then a great edge to edge red center, but the filet was still cooked to the point where you can see the actual meat fibers and the juiciness of the beef is released. Filet mignon has very little fat and while it is tender, it can often be dry. That was not the case here as the meat was tender but also very juicy with an exceptional flavor that was closer to ribeye than filet mignon. The steak was topped with a good bordelaise sauce, which accented the steak well without overwhelming it. The sauce also contained thickly cut and perfectly sauteed shiitake mushrooms. Service was friendly and good. Prices were reasonable though the steak I had was fairly pricey for a moderately priced chain restaurant. Given the quality though, I would gladly pay this price again. I am not sure if I could experience a quality filet mignon like this at another LongHorn steakhouse. I am not sure I could even have this type of experience at this location again, but this filet mignon was probably the best steak I have ever had at a family chain or a moderately priced chain restaurant. I do not know if I will ever be back to a LongHorn, but I am curious if my great steak experience here could be replicated. Like most chain restaurants, this LongHorn has its own free parking lot. It is easy finding an open space.

This is my mom’s favorite place for lunch. We tried the fried green tomatoes… DELICIOUS!!! I love the salad and sandwich combos. The wait staff is always attentive and courteous. We will be back often.

Frequent visitor for the sirloin and mashed potatoes. Service is always very good, as is the food. Favorite steakhouse in Clarksville for sure.

One of my favorite places to get steak or chicken. Usually we have great service. We always ask for no iceberg lettuce in our salad and they always accommodate. My wife always complains of the smell when we first enter — maybe from old mops being used to clean tile floors? Really the only complaint we have.

Food was good I got the filet and my wife got parmesean crusted chicken. Good size portion and it was part of 2 for 30 I believe. The service even though they were busy was outstanding. We did not once run out of drinks or bread.

We decided to go to Long Horn Steakhouse because my sister and I were leaving back to Washington state after being on vacation for winter break. The place was not packed and the service was great. I ordered a salad(forgot which one) and it was sooooo delicious. I definitely recommend LHSteakhouse if you are in the area.

Bone in ribeye is juicy, tender absolutely delicious. Hamburgers are the best in Clarksville. Chicken with parmesan is my mom’s favorite. Great waitstaff anything we wanted was done immediately and with a smile. Apple dessert is TD4. Go there several times a month.

Ok, I tried it again. On our 28th anniversary my wife and I went back. It was a busy Sunday and the staff was working hard trying to keep up. After I explained to our waitress the significance of the date I told her we were going to have a couple of glasses of wine prior to ordering. As they offered a bottle of wine I asked whether it was a .75 liter or smaller and she had no idea what the volume was so we just ordered by the glass, I would have ordered the bottle in hindsight. The porterhouse for 2 was cooked perfectly and the sides were delicious. I definitely recommend the porterhouse for 2, as good as Morton’s. I didn’t give 5 stars due to the waitress lack of knowledge about the wine.

Is this the best steakhouse I’ve eaten in? No, but there’s a lot of competition out there. Noticed it got way better reviews than Logans on Unilocal. The prime rib was really good and cooked the perfect temperature. The ribeye however, was not marbled at all — the fat instead was around the edges = basically the cut was kind of tough even at medium rare = disappointment. Everything else was standard to good = drinks, salads, kids meals. The waitstaff changed my 3 star experience to a 4 star experience. When one of the waiters overheard my 3 year old saying/whining«I didn’t want chicken, I wanted salad», he brought him a side salad no charge just to make him smile.

We went here at about 8:30 on a Saturday night which I guess is the time that all the staff stops caring. It took 10 minutes for a hostess to even appear at the podium and speak to us. We opted to sit at a table in the bar section because it was a 30 minute wait. We sat there for a few minutes and there was so sign of a waitress. Then we saw one of the cooks walk out of the kitchen and out the front door. And with that we decided to leave ourselves. I love longhorn’s food but this experience was disappointing.

Had the Ribeye steak. Man, it was the fattiest steak I have ever seen and so of course delicious. We went here right before moving away from TN and my buddy covered the tab for us 3. It was very expensive overall, about $ 100. I would not go back here again unless it was a very special occasion and the person it was for loved this place. I would not consider a great value, basically. The design and overall interior environment was good and an experience for someone who doesn’t go to this type of place often.

I went here the other night and got the napa chicken…(Before anyone says anything its because I was not in the mood for a steak) The chicken was covered with portabella mushrooms and artichoke hearts YUM… I got the side of green beans(wasn’t my fav but still good) The main performer of that nights meal was the napa chicken… Chicken with mushrooms and artichoke hearts I will take that any day…

Longhorn is our favorite chain steakhouse and this place lives up to the great service and steaks we’ve been accustomed to while living in Texas and South Carolina. We have been here three times, twice with family and once as a date night. Great atmosphere and experience on all occasions. The service is outstanding! I’m usually a same old cat, I like going where I know the food is good. Until my wife drags me to a new found steak house in this area we will continue going to Longhorn. It seems like this place is always packed compared to other steakhouses on the same strip. I recommend the T-BONE steak!

This is one of my favorite Clarksville restaurants. I crave there French onion soup, and have to order it every time I go. There steaks are juicy and full of flavor. Everything I have ordered off there menu has been excellent, I am never disappointed. They also have delicious desserts, my favorite is there apple crust, and if you have a huge appetite they have a delicious chocolate cake called the stampede, it is 2 huge rich pieces of chocolate cakes. Top notch in my opinion.

This is supposed to be a «classy» steakhouse(well yeah! when you only have Logan’s to compare it to). But it’s still redneck. Honestly, the food is just fine. Who doesn’t enjoy a nice juicy steak every once in a while? The Flo’s classic is simply divine. I have no idea what cut of steak it is, all I know is that the menu says«most tender» and they sure had that right! The service was absolutely terrible, our waitress kept forgetting about us(even though my 6 month old was practicing his battle cry) and all we wanted to do was dine and dash. And even though the steaks were amazing, I got a summer salad with strawberries covered in mold! I have to hand it to them, that when I complained about it the manager or owner came out to personally apologize and my whole entrée was on the house because of the mishap. In all, the customer service from the management level made up for the crappy salad and waitress. I probably won’t be a regular back at Longhorns but I don’t think I’ll nix it from my(very short) list of good places to eat in Clarksville– not yet anyway! P. S. Get the stuffed mushrooms!!! Very good food and service. For lunch, I usually get one of their salads. The options on salad are chicken, salmon and steak. The best sandwhich is the prime rib with fries. The steaks are very good with the filet being the best. All price range of foods for any appetite. I highly recommend the salmon salad or entrée. For a sandwhich, you just can’t go wrong with the prime rib.
