Only reason I am giving this store a BAD, rating is the RUDENESS of one of the employees. His name is Kyle I remember the name of of his name tag. He was the rudest person I have ever met. I use to shop Publix in Florida and I KNOW Publix doesn’t put up with this kind of employees, but he was enough to turn me off from ever stopping in there again. My friends and family shop there. Maybe he should work at Walmart where their always rude. Instead of trying to pick up the girls maybe he should do more work.

Usually go to publix for the excellent service and friendly staff. However I went here with my mother and the older gentleman who bagged our produce dropped all of our apples on the floor. When we asked if we could get a different batch so that we didn’t have to purchase bruised produce the man rolled his eyes at us and smirked and walked away. Our cashier on the other hand was very friendly. We saw the bagger again when we went out to the car and my mother told him that she wished he was more respectful of other people’s purchases. The man rolled his eyes again and said«whatever lady.» We used to drive out of our way to go to publix for the service but we will not be going there again!!!

I lived a mile from this place for a year and a half so this is where I did most of my grocery shopping. I live in a different city now and I sure do miss it. Immediately when you walk in you see the immaculate produce, deli, and bakery. Very clean and well stocked. Someone said to me once that the produce section in Publix makes them want to eat healthy! Ha ha! Seriously though, everything is fresh and easy to find. I have purchased birthday cakes and even my wedding cake from the bakery and they are always delicious! When I bought my wedding cake they accidentally overcharged me and one of the bakers caught it. Bless them! Over the course of the year and a half I saw the same faces very regularly so it appears they have a low turnover rate. Very good! Baggers also offer to help you with your groceries to the car and it’s been made clear they do not accept tips. This part is a bit of a double-edged sword for me. I think it’s great service but I’m a bit of an introvert so I’d just assume take them out myself rather than try and make small talk. It is very handy for those who have a hard time getting around which I sure appreciate. On that note, overall customer service is on point! I know Publix prides themselves on providing great service and they certainly deliver. While in some ways their prices are a bit higher, their BOGO sales are amazing! They’re also on household staples like bread and cereal. Keep up the great work, Publix!

First time customer, Will definitely be back. All associates are very friendly and helpful. Came in looking for a Blackstone seasonal beer and the guy stocking the beer aisle found it for me right away. The store is immaculately clean and everything is presented well. Enjoyed my first visit.

I love Publix! They offer a good variety of everything from their seafood to dairy to produce. They even have a nice selection of organic food. I especially love Publix’s bakery. They made a specialty pull-apart cupcake cake for my kiddo’s birthday that was amazing! It looked great, but tasted even better.

Love their huge produce selection! Bakery area seems tiny and selections aren’t as great as other Publix stores I have frequented. Although they do have kaisers with poppyseeds and that is the first I have found them outside of New Jersey! It always takes FOREVER at the deli! The employees are very nice and helpful, and there are always quite a few if them, but for some reason it takes so long to get cold cuts. I need to remember to order them online before I go to the store. Overall, customer service seems to be hit or miss here. I haven’t had any employees stocking shelves ever greet me or ask if they could help me find anything which is unusual for a Publix. Cashiers and baggers also seem to be less friendly and eager to serve as at other Publix stores. Your chances of getting helped by someone friendly are about 50⁄50. Since it is the only Publix nearby, I will continue to shop here but I do much prefer our old Publix in Bellevue.

Why isn’t this a 5 star review? Because this isn’t a Wegman’s, fool! Other than the crime of not being Wegman’s, this place is the bee’s knees. The staff are always super helpful and friendly. The meat is better than you’ll find at the commissary, and you can actually find grassfed here. The fish selection is kinda sad, but I doubt there’s a ton of other people looking for good fresh fish in Clarksville. They even have a pretty decent selection of ethnic and non-American food. I heart maduros and Rocky bars. It’s a little out of the way, but it is always always worth the drive.

My aunt picked up some chicken to go from here for our annual Christmas Dinner at Grandma’s. I was really impressed with how juicy it was. I usually don’t like fried chicken but I loved this. I even ate a breast! Loved: — Fried Chicken

I usually don’t go grocery shopping but one given Sunday I went out looking for some wings for gameday. I am in the military so I of course drove 30 minutes to Post(base) to the commissary, knowing they would have a party pack. Well needless to say I was very disappointed and ended up driving back to Sango to the Publix on Madison. Not only did I get wings(already cooked) but I was able to build a party pack of my own. The reason I give this Publix 5 stars, is for the service I received. Every employee I ran in to greeted me with a smile, a hello and a need to want to help me. Even the last person at check out, was begging to push my cart to the car. I went home and told my wife, do not shop anywhere else, go to Publix. The shopping experience is priceless!

I think I’ve received the absolute best service EVER! Not only did they have my Turducken(SCORE!!) they helped me find everything that I asked for! Every employee asked if I needed help and one walked my groceries out and refused a tip!!! Thanks for the award winning service!!!

I live in Indianapolis but grew up here in Clarksville and come back to visit my family a half dozen or so times a year. We always cook a nice dinner at least one night while I’m in town. Back at home i live 2 blocks from a Fresh Market and i have gotten used to the high quality meats, the hard to find condiments and the freshest fruits and vegetables as well as the assortment of all natural products. So when Publix opened i know had that place when i come visit. They have everything i mentioned, plus a great staff(always very friendly, kind and well spoken). The facility is spotless and very well organized. Yes you do pay more here than at a Kroger, but your paying a little more for all the things i mentioned. They do have sales and coupons so if you know how to shop it can be the same. I love this place and am glad they are in town and decided on the old hospital as their location. its very centrally located.

Last stop for seriously good provos in Clarksville before heading into the Land between the Lakes abyss. Stock up my friends at this lovely Publix, large, clean and well stocked. We dined well at the Lake.

I have to say I am glad Publix came to Clarksville– It has totally made Kroger step it up and they have great items to boot. Do I do all of my shopping there, no– but I do stop in a couple of times a month. The thing I love the most is that the workers are super friendly(hear that Kroger?), the store is super clean(again– Kroger, take notice), and the best part is that they don’t haggle over whether a coupon is correct or not(gosh, if only Kroger would learn that lesson). I also love the samples. Get their pizza dough. Oh, it is soooo goood!

Finally… we have a Publix in Clarksville! No more need to drive to Nashville to find the ingredients for things we want to cook! They actually carry Thai red curry paste, pasta flour, sun dried tomatoes, and other things that the local«super» markets didn’t think we needed here in shotgun and pickup truck country. There is an interesting contrast to the People of Wal-Mart here. Publix seems to draw the French pedicure crowd, while Wal-Mart has the overstuffed stretch pants market cornered. Welcome to Clarksville, Publix. I’m sure we’ll be seeing a lot of each other.
