Riverside Bicycle Shop

This place is not only the best bike shop in the area, it might be one of my favorite shops of all time. The guys are super laid back and really helpful. You can tell as soon as you walk in they are in business because they care about bikes and people who ride them, instead of some other shops that just want to sell you whatever is expensive or the latest fad in cycling. They helped me with a few of my projects, BMX and MountainBikes, and I bought my sons first bike here which was a great low pressure purchase. Read their philosophy on the website and you’ll see how great this place is, whether you are really into bikes or totally clueless they are the shop for you. Unfortunately I’m moving out of the area but if I ever move back this way I’m totally making this my shop of choice again.

If you are looking for great prices, a friendly staff and customer service that outstanding. Then you need to pay these guys a visit. Mark and Neil are the owners and they have pointed me in the right direction as to what bike I needed and what was best for me. They offer a free maintenance plan so it covers all of you’re adjustments etc. for life! I have looked at approximately 10 bike shops, some in Nashville and riverside bicycle shop is where I ended up.

I started looking for a bike a few weeks ago and went to all of the bike shops in Clarksville and in Hopkinsville, KY. I decided to purchase my bike at the Riverside Bicycle Shop because of the following reasons:
Giant Bikes– They carry Giant and it is consistently rated one of the best bikes on all of the sites I looked at
Staff– The staff has made me feel like part of the team since I first went there and have even invited me to go biking with them on the local trails. It feels more like i have joined a «family of fellow biking enthusiasts» instead of just buying a bike
Test Ride: I went on a rainy day to purchase my bike and unlike another Clarksville bicycle shop they let me test ride their bicycles. Seems to me when a shop is willing to wash off the tires, in order to make sure you are comfortable with a new bike then they are the kind of people I want to buy a bike from.
Since I have bought my bike I went back to the shop to get some accessories added and they did a great job. I even had them move one accessory that they had already installed, and they did this without complaint.
In summary, I am thrilled with my bike. I bought a Giant mountain bike for $ 675 and have already knocked out 45 miles in my first week and love it.
If you want to deal with a shop who will give you a «fair shake», and treat you like you deserve to be treated then I highly recommend them.

Staff is always professional courteous and willing to go the extra mile to make sure you’re safe and taken care of. I never felt pressured in buying a bicycle and always felt comfortable with what I had purchased.
