I’m a freelancer and this place passes my «nomad with a computer» tests. Plenty of outlets with USB chargers built in. Abundant natural light from north facing windows without much computer screen glare. Staff is nice, coffee is good, close to lunch spots and Lotus Brewery for meeting up with clients. I’ll be here whenever I’m in metro Detroit.

This location was the first time trying Biggby coffee and after a few times here, I have to say I won’t be returning. The baristas are rude and they up charge for everything. I’ll stick to Tim Hortons where the prices are cheaper and the people working there are more friendly.

I went again today to give it another shot. The girl repeated my order to me and was wrong then (ordered a green hot tea)
I get to the window and she asked if I had a green tea latte. I said no just a hot green tea. I get it and it’s a green tea with sugar!
I am so annoyed. There was no line, I was the only one there. My order was simple. Just a hot green tea!
I won’t go back and I don’t advise anyone who doesn’t want a bunch of confusion at the window to not go either.
Very disappointed… Where is a Starbucks when ya need one!!!

This Biggby Coffee location opened recently. I stopped on my way home for a pumpkin spiced latte. It was a pretty warm day out so I asked if they could make the drink iced. The servers were pretty friendly. But I think that because it’s a new store and with new employees, they were still a bit confused about some things.
