Do not, I repeat, DO NOT, risk going to this place. This women is beyond UNPROFESSIONAL. I dropped off a $ 300 dress to have shortened and she estimated it at $ 50.00 and a week to complete. Fifteen minutes after dropping it off, I remembered I needed it that night to take with me to Macy’s to pair with shoes, so I went back and explained this to her, and I would drop it off in the morning. She said «it was finished». I was in total disbelief and asked to see it, it was not finished, she had only hacked off the bottom, there were loose threads everywhere and for some reason she had opened up the seams along the shoulders. I told her I needed it back and she wanted the full $ 50.00 even though the dress was in pieces and unfinished. I said «are you serious?» and offered to pay for what she had started but she wanted the full $ 50, when I grabbed my gown, she grabbed it and pulled on it, I heard the sound of fabric stretching/​tearing so I let go immediately so that the dress would not rip. I ended up having to call the police because she refused to give me my gown, even after I offered to pay for her for 20 minutes of work/​cutting off the bottom. The police had to go in and retrieve my dress, I paid her the $ 20 since she had spent 20 minutes on it. A NIGHTMARE. I should have trusted my gut in the very beginning, not to go through with having her work on it. AWFUL, HORRIBLE experience. She is not honest either, she only accepts cash and charges and arm and a leg. She is a crook.

Charlotte is a gem. A real pro, gives good, honest advice and exceptional on-​time service. Plus, she will make you laugh like there’s no tomorrow :).
