Magic Nails

I went to this salon on a day off. Friday mornings at 9 am must be when all the little old ladies go because there was one getting a pedicure when I arrived and then another one showed up. If they did not have time to give me a mani/​pedi, they should have just told me so. Instead they rushed thru both services in less than 30 minutes. I could not even read a magazine because as the one woman did my feet, another quickly did my nails. Not well staffed there. Not a good selection of polish, either. And from the other salons I’ve been to, this one is particularly dated and really needs to renovate.
I only went here because it was the only salon open at the time. Besides feeling really unwanted, I felt like I should have made an appt, despite their big sign on the door that says walk-​ins welcome.
I will NOT be back.

I paid a total of $ 40 for a mani with French nails and a pedi on 10 – 24, thought it was a great deal-​WRONG!!! The owner did my nails and the very next day the white part of the french nail was chipping and by Saturday night, my niece’s wedding, my nails looked terrible. I went in yesterday and all they would offer me is a re-​do, no refund.
The owner said that they warn people that a regular manicure (versus a shellac) is not guaranteed to last (One Day?!!). I will add that my daughter had the same french mani/​pedi by another employee and her nails look fine.
Don’t go here, there are plenty of other better places to spend your hard earned money.

Wanted a full set of acrylic. Was told that gel nails are better. I said OK. I found out that they used acrylic anyways and charged me $ 10 more because of the «better product». Just disappointed that I was lied to and my nails are about a ¹⁄₈ of an inch thick. Not something you want to pay $ 35 bucks for. Go some place that’s going to be honest and not rip you off.

They’d get 5 stars if they had a bigger selection of nail polish, but this place is solid. Clean, inexpensive, and they wrap your legs in hot towels and massage them. Good times.
