Eagle Landing

OK, this place is pretty dope. I mean, if I wasn’t currently so into my urban dwelling living close to downtown Jax and could actually afford a place here – it’s truly a dream community. And since I know a super cool couple who lives in Eagle Landing and they just happen to be my friends and allow me to visit, I’m giving this place a solid 5-​STARS.
Asides from the gorgeous greens of their 18-​hole championship Clyde Johnston-​designed golf course, a golf clubhouse and an Athletic Center and Tennis Club (a two-​story facility with eight Har-​Tru courts and four more planned), EL has a on-​site fitness center with full-​service locker rooms for both ladies and men. Wow, right?
If that’s not enough, the community has a regulation-​sized gymnasium with full-​sized basketball court with eight adjustable goal heights, an integrated volleyball system and an indoor jogging track. You would never have any reason NOT to exercise here.
In addition, they have an adorable Village Store, Café and a Lake House, where residents can rent canoes, fishing rods and other sports and recreational gear. Yah. Pretty amazing.
The community also offers a ginormous swim park with four pools, a kids club, miniature golf, an outdoor amphitheater with a movie screen, numerous neighborhood parks and playgrounds and scenic hiking/​biking trails that stretch along untouched conservation areas.
And then… a full-​time recreation staff plans year-​round programs, clinics, camps and social activities for kids, teens, seniors and families.
And for an added bonus? They have this kick-​ass community cabana with a full bar where you can drive up in your golf cart and get plastered without even leaving your neighborhood or calling Über. Yes, not a bad place to be at all. 5-​STARS
