We have here many times. The service really sticks. With the many times we have been there we have not had a nice waitress. The food is ok. We will not be going back.

I ate here while in town during Labor Day visiting friends and attending the state fair. Immediately upon entering, I could tell it was a local gathering place, with guests that included families to couples to friends just hanging at the bar. We were quickly greeted and seated by a friendly hostess, and upon sitting down, it was not long before our waitress arrived requesting our drink order. Whereas I settled for a plain cheeseburger(which was delicious), my friend opted for the prime rib. I had a few bites and it was absolutely wonderful! The waitress had perfect timing, and our drink glasses were always full. It’s a good spot for some«home town» cooking, very casual atmosphere, and great service.

Food was great, waiter brought my friends sandwich to a different table so they gave us 2 complementary beers dhile he waited 2 minutes for his sandwich. Kids were happy, steak was great, potato skins were amazing, crab legs were fantastic. Service was nice, busy due to a party upstairs but overall a great experience

Great place !! Fast and friendly service. They give you huge portions. The bar is very nice. They have lots of Tv’s to watch the games. The bartenders are easy on the eyes.

The staff were super friendly but the food could be better. The blue cheese salad dressing taste like mayo with crumbles, no flavor. The bread is cold, pasta overcooked and just blah. I’m giving it a 2 star because the prime rib was tasty but the rest was terrible.

My hotel swore this was the best restaurant and non chain around. I’d be thrilled, they said. The food is amazing, they told me. I was thrilled as this area is suffocated with poor chains. Ironically, I quickly learned the food is much better at the chains I was trying to avoid. My food was below average and I watched carefully what was being brought to other tables, which turned out to be a lot more of sub par food. Everything was blah, except the service, which was good. This reminds me of an old diner with lots of fried food, poor quality and filled with locals who believe iceberg lettuce and bland white bread is good. If you value quality food, avoid this place. If you enjoy Denny’s, this is your spot.

The problem is that this place COULD be really great… if there was someone in the kitchen that had any sort of passion for food. I’ve eaten there a few times… because I didn’t feel like cooking, so we went out. Everything here is just«lower average». I have noticed though that the crowd that eats here is more to the elderly side. Ya know when you get older your sense of taste and smell go…

Not very good. Had onion rings that were definitely frozen from a bag… so were the fries(which usually wouldn’t bother me but these were just unseasoned steak fries). I gave 3 stars only because the Reuben I had was incredible!!! Stacked mile high open-faced with corned beef, kraut, and melted cheese! It was so big I couldn’t finish it and neither could my boyfriend with a BIG appetite!

Only decent thing they make are chicken wings. Bartenders are nice and drinks are reasonably priced. Otherwise, don’t waste your time, money, or stomach lining to eat here. First place that I’ve ever had to serve me mashed potatoes from a box(besides KFC, but they have an excuse and only charge $ 5.)

Found a piece of metal in my philly cheese steak. They apologized by saying that it wasn’t them and was in the box of meat and gave me another. They didn’t strike it from the bill. I’m glad I didn’t cut my mouth. They said they’d provide separate checks and then panicked when they realized they hadn’t. We had to tally our servings ourselves. Didn’t leave a tip and I won’t be back.
