Great thrift store. Very well organized and the people that work here are very friendly and outgoing. There is a lot of nice items arranged neatly to choose from.

Over the years living here in Delaware I’ve shopped at this Goodwill here and there, looking for interesting buys. I love to drop in every once in a while to browse their selection of clothes, toys, furniture, household goods, and books. Every so often, if you dig around, you’ll find a real gem of an item. I have found new clothes, with original store’s price tag still attached with a hefty price printed on it, and only paid a few bucks for it. Once I bought a nice new pair of Calvin Klein jeans with store tag on it for $ 5 total. I was so stoked. Another time I bought a light jacket with store tag of around $ 60, for only $ 3.50 tops. I could go on and on, but I won’t to save some space. ^^ I have also found other interesting items I loved, like a nice Tanuki wood carving, a cute plush Maneki Neko, a plush of a character from the Lion King Broadway musical for $ 1, working guitar hero guitars for my game at home, some good books, a nice little scale for weighing light mail items… again, I could go on and on. I’ve even bought a few good music CDs, but you have to open the cases and look at the CDs themselves to make sure they are not scratched beyond hope of playing well. Also, I have come across empty cases with no CD inside at all, so you have to watch out for those. As for furniture, some are really old, used, and worn looking, but it if you get lucky, you’ll find a really nice piece or two there. Years ago, I bought two nice looking chairs for the living room that looked in great clean shape, and we are still using them to this day. I occasionally shop at other places for clothing once in a while, mostly when there’s a good sale or clearance, but most of my wardrobe consists of some wonderful Goodwill finds. I’ve even gotten a few compliments on a few of the items I’ve worn, and the people were surprised when I told them where I got them from. One time, at the vets, I wore a nice long sleeve v-neck, and the vet tech commented she had the exact same shirt in another color, but she bought hers at a pricier dept store. I got mine at Goodwill, $ 3.75 and it looked practically brand new. Needless to say, besides the interesting coincidence that day, I was very happy to have found such a nice shirt for such a nice price. The only quibble I have is that some people that work there seem pretty nice and friendly, while others I’ve come across fail a bit in that department. Some greet you, and some outright ignore you while chatting it up with someone else while you’re checking out. But beggars can’t be choosers at a place where they have deals that are real super steals. Someone would have to be particularly rude or nasty to me for me not to go back. If you don’t mind sifting through a lot of sand to find a nice nugget of gold, and you love the adventure of discovery, as well as saving some money, give them a visit.
